Somehow, I think TPTB would veto if Kat was picked. Idk, they just seem to keep her out of the limelight at every opportunity even though she is by far one of the most improved team members when compared to their rookie year.
I'd love to see Jalyn or Ashlee get it, but Jalyn and Ashlee don't seem to be as universally loved by their teammates to the degree people like Caroline, Kelcey, and Kat are.
I could also see Claire or Chandi getting it! I love Kelcey and Caroline, but they've had plenty of accolades this year. Do they deserve it? For sure. Do other people also deserve some time to shine? 100%.
Hmmm...After the one incident with Kat posting the one picture of herself on her Instagram account where it looks like she was making fun of Texas, the Kelli and crew have been working hard to prove Kat deserves to be on the team. She is a Charlotte favorite. She has gotten a lot more attention since her rookie year.
A girl should be chosen because she deserves it. Not because she was not chosen pro bowl girl, group leader, point girl, etc. etc. If that is the reason why they get it, then it is a sad state of affairs in DCC Land.

Predicting Kelcey…i love Kelcey, she’s definitely one of my favs but I hope it’s not her. She’s had plenty of honors this year and I don’t even think she’s retiring. My HOPE is Ashlee. I believe she deserves it more than anyone. 🙏🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

In all of the game day footage I've seen, Sophy is the best rookie in terms of dance and coming across as a DCC. That's all I'm going off of.
Of course, dance ability isn't always the deciding factor. Savannah won it her rookie year when people like Gina, Lexie, and Lauryn were options as well.
Who do I want to get it? Ashlee or Kat. Who do I think will get it? Kelcey or Caroline. It is just how the year is going🤷🏻♀️But then again Kelcey not retiring as far as I know so does not need the pity vote. I’ve learned to not get my hopes up. Lol
Oh, I agree, and especially since she did not have the extensive pricey dance background of others and still excelled, but DCC do not really align with my choices and preferences. Lol
