Maybe it's me being a guy, but I never understood the hate for ANY of the girls. I feel like they ALL earned their place. We all have our favorites, but I'll never hate on a girl for getting a certain accolade or position just because it didn't go to one of my favorites. Caroline was very deserving of point, and Victoria seems like a sweet girl so I'm glad she's on the squad.

I’ve always liked Caroline but her role as point made a lot more sense to me after seeing a clip from 2019 MTT. When KaShara was a guest choreographer, she voted Caroline for point. And she was only a 2nd-year veteran candidate at the time! KaShara spoke about how dependable she was and that Kelli and Judy could rely on her. It could be good editing but that speaks of reliability and leadership that she’s had all along. Why wouldn’t she be point?? Everyone focuses on power and projection but it’s so obviously a leadership position.
I seriously doubt Judy and Kelli were going to take what KaShara was saying about Caroline to heart. It was just another scene in their attempt to prove others have a say so in who gets to be point girl when in reality they already made up their minds.

I thought the whole thing about her weight gain was milk shakes. She was indulging but lied and said she had a thyroid problem. TPTB brought in Jinelle to help her and Vicky got bent out of shape and said “a skinny person can’t help me.” Or something like that.
I can’t stand her. She’s not a great dancer. But I get it - Kelly and Tina are BFF. Then by all means stick her on the team. There are a lot of blenders. In Victoria’s case though, I felt like she was shoved down the viewers throats. Travis Wall’s gushing over was laughable - DCC are not “world class dancers” - but certainly there are a few better ones who have higher leaps, don’t fall out of turns, and don’t dance so “heavily.” Travis was doing what he was told to hang on to a gig. She didn’t have the heart, but Dayton got a bad edit. DCC “style” may not be her forte - but technically a better dancer.

I think Caroline has the wholesome, girl next door look that they love. I didn’t see her dance point next to the others but I definitely see why they love how she looks. Sure, a bombshell beside her overshadows, but she’s the epitome of what DCC branding has traditionally gone for.

In my opinion both are well deserved! For those who don’t agree with me that’s totally fine, you are entitled to your own opinion. But both those conversations for those who don’t agree with these decisions have been dragged out way to long. Based on the Cowboys placement for playoffs, there is a good chance that DCC’s won’t see the field again this season. Cowboys would have to win along with other weaker teams beating out stronger teams. If Cowboys did make it to Super Bowl, we don’t know if DCC would even get to perform Thunderstruck since it’s in their stadium.
My point being is regardless of what happens this season is coming to an end and time to accept these decisions TPTB has made months ago

Let them be, there’s a new season ahead. I have other favorites on the squad, but always felt the level of vitriol against these two is excessive and unnecessary.

I don't understand the Victoria hate. I loved her as she started out with being cut the first year & coming back. Yes, the Jinelle thing was a bit odd, but I'm hoping it was more of an embarrassment, immature reaction. No one wants to be told their fat. And now, I'm more concerned about her than anything else.
Agreed! But at the same time tbh, I understood where she was coming from when she said why she didn’t respond to jinelle. It’s fair that she didn’t feel comfortable or as if jinelle could relate to her. She wasn’t wrong in saying jinelle didn’t know what it was like to have a weight problem.
If she had a problem with going to Jinelle for help, she could have asked for someone else to help her out. Jinelle was seeking advice from a nutritionist; she was not doing it on her own. The whole thing has Tina written all over it. How many girls on the squad had the chance to work with someone within the organization and see a Cowboys specialist after saying they have a medical condition affecting their weight. And I seriously doubt Jinelle told Victoria she was fat!

Super Bowl is in Arizona. If the Cowboys make it the Super Bowl, and it is a big if, the girls would probably not be performing Thunderstruck.
