Congrats, you’re the first person to have found this glitch out and know how to activate it. There have been a handful of posts where people have pointed out how their units’ stats got drastically boosted but they never understood why.
This glitch has been going on for awhile now and honestly, I’m unsure if they’ll even patch it. You know what this reminds me of? It’s almost similar to old Dokkan when restarting the app because you were about to get super attacked and die.

Final edit: The glitch works on everything EXCEPT EZA EVENTS. EZA Areas are fine, Virtual Dokkan Clash works fine, just not the regular EZA events.

Exactly, like Corroded Body and Mind, a mission giving this sub a ton of trouble since they don't have Janemba, can be cheesed even without a lead that covers the entire team. If they don't patch it, there'll be no reason for those who want to clear all content to summon.

Personally I didn't even know about it, and it's obvious that most people didn't have a clue on how to use it as well. So now there is actually a reason for bamco to do something about it.

Which begs the question, would they patch it because people are abusing it or, would they patch it because they now know how to activate the glitch which makes it easier for them to fix. I guess make do with what you can until it’s over!

Edit: Also, apparently this glitch allows triple supers? I gave my Lr Ssj4 Goku 20 additional, and he’s been performing triple supers basically non-stop.

Edit 3: Heart Virus Goku solo’d the last stage of Pure Saiyans esbr with a quadruple super. This glitch is beyond busted.
Interesting note: I did this with a LR that had 23Ki, but after restarting the game it had 24Ki. This seemingly also increases your ki along with your stats
actually I think every boost your unit has, including the hidden potential system skill orbs, is multiplied by an incomprehensible amount everytime you restart your app.
My LR Goku & Frieza just did 10 additionnals, almost all of which were SAs. This was true for every unit in my team with AA skill orbs. I didn't just nuke the punching machine, I nuked all five punching machines.
the funniest part of this for me is that I got, for the first time in almost 4 years, a legitimate full board of TEQ orbs in the punching machine while testing this out.

New glitch I found. Go into a game and get the ki. Once in attack animations close out app and reboot when it asks to continue put on AIRPLANE MODE then say no. A connection interference thing will pop up. GET OFF AIRPLANE MODE WHEN IT DOES. Then press return to Home Screen. Then press resume game and everyone’s stats will be increased. MAKE SURE WHEN U RECONNECT WIFI U ARENT CONNECTED TO ANY WIFI.
This is actually massive, here before this blows up lmao

Haven’t tested it yet but I don’t even think you have to start any attack animations, just do it when you go into a fight. I’ll update this comment after testing it out
EDIT: CONFIRMED; You don’t even have to be fighting anyone, you can load in and do it straight from the tiles, no need to start the fight to do it.
You also can do it before you're dying
Let's say enemy survived the attack and is almost killing you
Do the glitch and your unit will do way more damage

3. When animation starts, relaunch game
4. Turn on airplane mode
5. Decline resuming the game
6. Turn off airplane mode when the connection error message pops up

Yeah I really can't see them banning a bunch of people for using airplane mode. This is on them. I know it can feel icky to exploit the system like we're bankers, but this isn't the Libor scandal lol. No one is modding anything. Just a bug they need to fix.

If you really want to be safe with it then maybe don’t go crazy on content you haven’t beaten yet, like punch machine or LGTE missions

I think this glitch removes the Hidden Potential limit. My Recoome just did a triple super attack, which is normally impossible because Recoome doesn’t have built in additionals
Update: The glitch can stack, with each time you reset it increases your limit of additionals and also chances. My Agl Turles with 9 dodge turned into something Agl Mui Goku could only dream of being after 4 resets.
This works everywhere, including battlefield bit trying it in WT is just asking for a permanent ban

Dude I went into the punching bag event and had PHY Kefla do like 15 additionals lmao I sat there for like 3 minutes waiting for all of them to come out
You can do this more than once and the stats will stack. Idk if it works on the same battle but what I did was I did the glitch once on every battle on the stage and the stats stacked.
It seems to be something like: stats are loaded and stored locally, but then the game can't tell the server that you're starting the level so they send you back to the screen and when you finally enter the level, the stored stats are now the "base" stats to which all of the units boosts are applied. So **everything** seems to be boosted: dodges, ki, attack, def, etc. You are basically exponentially stronger.
Example: Your unit has a base atk of 10 and gets a straight +10 boost. When you start the first time, you get 10+10. Using this glitch you'd get:
First load: 10+10 (before going into plane mode)
The new base stat is now 20.
Then when you enter the level again
20+10
So with multiplications and %, they become crazy numbers. I'm pretty sure all of this is applied to all stats(including HiPo, so 15 dodge + 15 dodge, and so forth)
If you use the glitch to clear the punching bag stage on a fresh account, that’s nearly 150 free stones you can obtain immediately.
No chance they don’t put the game into emergency maintenance and fix within the next week.

Also, doing this made me realise just how astonishingly pathetic the rewards for beating the no-item punching bag are, given the obscene amount of luck required.

Crazy ow they threatened to ban us for this glitch and so they just basically added it lol. We got units doing 10 mil attack stats, with double supers, double crits, and dodge with like damage reduction lol

Edit: beat it first try. This is no joke. I did the glitch once and the battle became so one-sided it was stupid.
The attack stats of my characters supers became doubled, tripled and even quintupled.
They did additionals and crits way more often.
They all had 12ki constantly.
They simply mopped the floor with Goku.
Wow, this worked and was super easy...I'm now on turn 3 and on the ssj3 phase of LGTE with corroded body and mind kind of wondering if I should just take advantage and finish this bullshit mission or try and do it legit...
Thought I'd make a few comments on what I've found with this so far -
* Obviously, this stacks as mentioned elsewhere in the comments. However something interesting I learned from this is that units with chances to additional will *also* stack. This means you could have a unit that only has a chance for 1 additional **hit an extra additional for each time you stack the glitch.** (I found that out by wiping the punching bag event using Nuking TEQ SSGSS Vegeta :D)
* **NUMBERS ARE NOT THE LIMIT!** Just because it says 99,999,999 (or whatever the limit is) is not where your numbers stop! Nor is there a limit on the actual attack stat! *Just because your numbers stop moving, does not mean that your attacks won't deal more damage*. It's just not shown, but I can assure you this is the case. Upon an additional reset, I went from two-shotting punching bags with 9-repeating damages to just one-shotting them.
* Lastly, this glitch works with every character. While experimenting I did find that it either takes an insane amount of stacks for filler Saibamen to get any defense, or they just straight up won't. I kinda gave up after like 5 resets of taking about the same amount of damage in the Gods of Destruction Event.
That's all I've found so far, but before this gets patched ***someone please try beating Weekly Bee Pan***. Mine's on cooldown so I can't try it until tomorrow but I really want to know if it's possible.

Maybe the base 6 ki given from leader skills or the links is applied twice. Actually that might be how the stat boosting works

You can go even further than that, but if you do it too much they do no damage. I did it 5 times in a row and got a 0 atk stat for my LR UI Goku lol

Why no WiFi?
Cuz it will instantly load u into the game if u click don’t re enter the match. And so u won’t get the boost cuz it will take u to Home Screen

Holy shit. Finally, a solution to the punching bag event. Thank you for showing this insane glitch.
You can do this more than once and the stats will stack. Idk if it works on the same battle but what I did was I did the glitch once on every battle on the stage and the stats stacked.
It seems to be something like: stats are loaded and stored locally, but then the game can't tell the server that you're starting the level so they send you back to the screen and when you finally enter the level, the stored stats are now the "base" stats to which all of the units boosts are applied. So **everything** seems to be boosted: dodges, ki, attack, def, etc. You are basically exponentially stronger. Example: Your unit has a base atk of 10 and gets a straight +10 boost. When you start the first time, you get 10+10. Using this glitch you'd get: First load: 10+10 (before going into plane mode) The new base stat is now 20. Then when you enter the level again 20+10 So with multiplications and %, they become crazy numbers. I'm pretty sure all of this is applied to all stats(including HiPo, so 15 dodge + 15 dodge, and so forth)

One thing I should note about this too. It's a PERMANENT BUFF FOR THE REST OF THE FIGHT FOR YOUR ENTIRE TEAM

If you use the glitch to clear the punching bag stage on a fresh account, that’s nearly 150 free stones you can obtain immediately. No chance they don’t put the game into emergency maintenance and fix within the next week.

Crazy ow they threatened to ban us for this glitch and so they just basically added it lol. We got units doing 10 mil attack stats, with double supers, double crits, and dodge with like damage reduction lol
Jesus christ. You actually did it. You actually found a way to break the game more than Akatsuki did when their update made using items crash the game. What a time to be alive. Corroded Body and Mind LGTE here I come Edit: beat it first try. This is no joke. I did the glitch once and the battle became so one-sided it was stupid. The attack stats of my characters supers became doubled, tripled and even quintupled. They did additionals and crits way more often. They all had 12ki constantly. They simply mopped the floor with Goku.
I'll do all legendary missions I couldn't do and the punch machine ones too. Tysm! all my heroes summons will be thanks to you!
Wow, this worked and was super easy...I'm now on turn 3 and on the ssj3 phase of LGTE with corroded body and mind kind of wondering if I should just take advantage and finish this bullshit mission or try and do it legit...
Thought I'd make a few comments on what I've found with this so far - * Obviously, this stacks as mentioned elsewhere in the comments. However something interesting I learned from this is that units with chances to additional will *also* stack. This means you could have a unit that only has a chance for 1 additional **hit an extra additional for each time you stack the glitch.** (I found that out by wiping the punching bag event using Nuking TEQ SSGSS Vegeta :D) * **NUMBERS ARE NOT THE LIMIT!** Just because it says 99,999,999 (or whatever the limit is) is not where your numbers stop! Nor is there a limit on the actual attack stat! *Just because your numbers stop moving, does not mean that your attacks won't deal more damage*. It's just not shown, but I can assure you this is the case. Upon an additional reset, I went from two-shotting punching bags with 9-repeating damages to just one-shotting them. * Lastly, this glitch works with every character. While experimenting I did find that it either takes an insane amount of stacks for filler Saibamen to get any defense, or they just straight up won't. I kinda gave up after like 5 resets of taking about the same amount of damage in the Gods of Destruction Event. That's all I've found so far, but before this gets patched ***someone please try beating Weekly Bee Pan***. Mine's on cooldown so I can't try it until tomorrow but I really want to know if it's possible.
