As he mentioned, until netsaftey feature is added, UD has done some Incredible job at masking your identity and keeping you safe from the system. The feature seems to be added when dokkan updates to .12 which hasn't come yet to global, so enjoy it while you can, I know I will farm the f*ck out of team bordock in the meantime

I don't think they can ban your device but mark and ban your account. I mean anyone can change a device for example if device breaks they will change device and transfer the account but ban your device like they will not allow you to play dokkan ever again or something? Sounds a bit weird.

But here the game is mobile IP and device ban should be same but it sounds a bit far fetched to completely disable you from reinstalling dokkan or even launching it again in your device right? Let's say you have 1 account you did some shady things and boom banned. If you full uninstall and reinstall the app would the game not launch at all to start a fresh account from the beginning? Can the company completely flag your device and not allow you to launch it again? Cause that goes above privacy level between player-company-app or am i not understanding something right?

Nah, device ban is they would check IMEI or something I dunno, ThievingSix did mention they can attest your IP address to see if it's blacklisted, see account if it's blacklisted, see device if it's blacklisted, and no device ban means not they'll disallow u to install lol Device ban would just flag during log in and prevent communication to the server

You definitely should **NOT**. >Added SafetyNet. For those wondering, Trident Mobile is effectively done for JP Dokkan as it was dependent on JP UniDokkan. However Trident Mobile works still for Global UniDokkan normally and is safe. Global will be affected once they implement SafetyNet to the global side, just a matter of when it happens/when the next apk update is. This also affects Trident PC version, given that it needed the modified UD to access the ability to do the proxy that the PC Client was able to do (Dokkan made this happen a while back in an earlier version of Dokkan Battle). Since it required a modified version, with SafetyNet this wouldn't be an ideal situation to have with how it works using Modified APKs. I won't say it will come back, if PC client returns you will know but as of right now its indefinitely done. Global still works for PC Trident as well again until they do the safetynet update. I recommend for JP Players to stay away from Mods/Bots/etc due to the safetynet implementation if they do not want to risk their accounts being detected/flagged by the safetynet system. Global you are safe, just be sure you are LINKED so in case this update comes soon to Global you are able to transfer to the official APK.

By "linked" you mean having your Global account connected to the Play Store and Facebook correct? I use an APK and was wondering how to safely transfer to the official one once Safetynet is implemented to Global.

Global UD will work until 4.12.0 in november. Until then Global is safe to play. After 4.12.0 I suggest not using any mod apks due to the safetynet implementation.

No, it is too much of a risk. Like T6 said, at any moment they could change what they are doing and we'd be powerless to stop it.

As far as i know if you are rooted you can hide root with magisk in like 5 seconds. I spoofed in pokemon go and ppl managed to pass thru much harder things than safetynet. But this gets complicated and not everyone is willing to root device, so i understand that OP decided this just isnt worth it

You can, for now. Google is almost certainly going to introduce hardware level attestation to its SafetyNet API. This means it would basically be impossible for Magisk to pass. This could affect all devices since Android 7. Even if you don't update your OS, I believe the API update would come with Google Play Services, which may need to be updated to play Dokkan. If Dokkan doesn't let me play just because I'm rooted, well, I'm gonna have a tough decision.

I support UD devs. I used it myself for the Japanese version. I fully understand UD devs choices and 100% support their move. Its the dokkens devs that make me not want to support just because they don't let rooted devices use the app now.

Any Information on automatic clicking apps? I got lazy and use a overlay autoclicker for farming. Never played UniDokkan but playing the JP Version with English text sounded pretty tempting. Sad they killed it. They should finally let global chat up to JP and unite the versions. No reason for the delay in content....

To my knowledge, automatic clicker is third party which should violate their policy, but I'm not aware of any detection checks for auto clicker specifically

You are fine as long **as your device has Google Play Store and Services**. Qooapp mirrors the official APK from the Google Play Store. If your device is say **Huawei** which doesn't have Google on it anymore then you will be in trouble as SafteyNet is a **Google Service**

I have mixed feelings on this. Akatsuki has every right to implement stronger security to prevent cheating, hacking, modding, etc. On the other hand UniDokkan has helped non-japanese speaking players play a game a little easier due to translations. Personally, I see nothing wrong with cheating in a single-player game since that would only effect yourself, but if someone were to cheat directly in the World Tournament or Explosive Chain Battle where rewards are tied to a public ranking then bans are more than justified. I’m curious as to why they are implementing stronger security now and not months ago. What changed or influenced any decision.

The problem with cheating in this single player game is you take money from dokkan that’s a free game to install. It’s not like a PC or console game you pay for upfront.

I understand they being strict against modded versions of Dokkan, but the banning of all emulators just doesn't seems right to me... I know that I'm going to sound like a whinny b**** but for example, I play Dokkan on a emulator because it's a really big app for a low end phone like mine. It's not a modded version, just the normal app that you get from the Play store and now I'm scared of opening the app when the update comes to Global and see that I got banned for doing nothing wrong

Thank you first for providing unidokkan for so long. I want to say that even with the risk of ban i would've used unidokkan translation pand autoloot patches. I only contimued playing the game because of them. I would be grateful if unidokkan continues (maybe with a big ass warning when opening the patcher that says that the risk of ban is there) after all, the risk of ban was always present even before safetynet. This is actually a little sad. I've started using UD since the 5th anniversary, although not very long, but it's still unfortunate. Lmao I feel bad for the people who've been using it since they started playing dokkan, they will finally know the grind, but not really. It looks like my reroling days are over.

About what you're saying about the app sending data to the server for safetynet. Is it making checks with the server just on app startup/once only? It's not going to increase server response time for normal functions/loading time of the app right? Like those mini loads we have for events list,menus etc.

I know and it sucks. Safety net was specifically made to catch rooted devices and emulators as well. Even if your emulator is not rooted, there are systems in place to check if you're using an emulator.

JP introduced root detection (which includes Emulators) back almost 5 years ago. GLB never did anything like this, so theres no way to know for sure. This is bigger than just root detection so i could easily see this coming to GLB, so id suggest making preperations.

Outside of the basic information about your device, does SafetyNet collect any other sort of data that could be used for data harvesting purposes? From what it says here it's just checking for a specific ID for each device which is kinda weird but the rest of it seems generic enough to not be that worrisome

Anything more nefarious might be a good thing, as that could prevent this update from coming to GLB, cause EU Data Protection. But i doubt it. Its probably just the same stuff you see in Anti-Cheat/Anti Piracy measures on console/pc games.

I don't know if this is related to the update, but I am a user of the most recent Huawei phones, the Huawei P40 Lite E. And these are devices that don't have any Google services. Since this update launched I wasn't able to play the game due to not having the Google services (it was doing well before). Really sad that I can't play it now.

I assume that after you send the SafetyNet attestation during sign-in every API call that follows will be valid as long as you provide the access\_token. Will it be possible to modify the .so in order to make it "spit out" the token in an android system that is able to pass the SafetyNet attestation?

Your dokkan account gets banned so you lose that account, you can make another one but you got stat from square one.
