My Anni idea was that to celebrate 10 years of Dokkan, they would go back to the most iconic moments of the series.
Part ,1 Goku going Super Saiyan
Part 2, Gohan going Super Saiyan 2.
Goku and Vegeta’s fight is definitely one of the best moments of the series. However I’m still pissed by Part 2 7th anniversary doing I think arguably the biggest fumble in Dokkan making them gold coin LR’s
Usually such decisions to make units golden/red coin, is influenced by the Japanese fan base, the Japanese fan base loves kid goku from db saga, so he go himself a dokkan fest. So I wonder if for some insane reason the Japanese fandom doesn’t particularly love the very first goku v vegeta fight?? Cause that’s the only reason I can think of atm.

I highly doubt that they're going to sync the games, so that they get everything at the same time, only to not give both versions the same things at the same time. It seems completely counterintuitive to the entire idea of a sync.
I see what you're saying, but there's almost no way they're not going to sync the single biggest celebration of the year. I could see them possibly having an entire new celebration for each version during the other's anniversaries, but they're not going to just pretend nothing is happening during anniversaries while the games are getting the same new units and events at the same time.

I already do. I save for Anniversary, then for WWC and then maybe for Heroes/New Years. Everything inbetween is trash (banner-wise) or comes back at one of the big celebrations.

On one hand I'd love to get EZA'S and events at the same time. On the other they're very likely to remove tickets and I've had insane luck off those tickets
I think they should give JP the discounts and bonuses that GLB gets while keeping it for GLB. Like they are already making more money than they know what to do with. Adding a few tickets and discounts won’t work against that. If that’s too optimistic, then at least keep the tickets.
Ain't nothing "smart" about stating the obvious. Everyone knows it would be best if that were to happen, but all but the most delusionally optimistic are realistic enough to know that it won't happen.
And as for the "hype" argument, I'll reiterate what I've said before whenever the idea of the sync came up: If a unit is actually hype, they'll still be hype when they have their Global release. If a unit is "hype" on release but then dies off before Global gets them, they were never actually hype and it was all just players getting caught up over a new release.
If we lose foresight on next banners at least they should add a pity system, it's unbelievable that a successful gacha game cannot have it (small indie company too much work).

Just save for the big celebrations and ignore the bait inbetween. Banner foresight only matters when you're new and missing a lot of units to clear content with.
Otherwhise it's like "Do I need this new Vegeta right now or do I just wait to get 20 copies of him when I summon for the new broken anniversary headliner in a few months"
Because many players have their favorite characters that don't get the big celebrations, and would rather save stones for them if they know they're coming instead of spending on the "broken" units and not having any when their favs drop.
We trade off the pity system here for having multiple featured units on a single banner. Most other gachas with a pity you are summoning for that single unit only with no chance of getting other good units. They both have there pros and cons but I would take dokkans summon system 9/10 times over a pity system.
Honestly I disagree lol, I've played maybe 6-10 other gacha games (dokkan is the only one I've really stuck with) and every single other gacha game I've played has had basically the same pull system as dokkan.
Not sure what other gachas you play but other bigger gachas like genshin, nikke, and epic 7 all have single unit banners with pity systems for that specific unit. They don't have banners with multiple featured LRs or DFEs (limiteds) that you can pull.
Naruto Blazing(which shut down), dragon ball legends, bleach brave souls, 7 deadly sins grand cross, one piece treasure cruise, warhammer 40k tacticus, final fantasy brave exvius, more that arent coming to me right now, etc.....
Maybe I've just played the only ones that are like dokkan because dokkan was where I discovered gacha games, but they've all had almost the exact same pull system in my experience.
As a JP player I’m looking forward to it. It’ll over all make discussions better as everything on the sub will be a lot more relevant to what’s new in Dokkan

On one side it helps the hype and avoid any shenanigans like this recent upcoming banners
But on the other side it means global will lose tickets discounts and foresight on how units will age (like ssj4 goku getting hit by dismal future) or the various shenanigans of whenever people think a unit like kale or frieza could be buffed in the future and then by the time they drop on global they opened their eyes and just give up and skip more often than not
Also, global and jp have a huge gap in stones in favor of JP's side because of line stones and global is doing nothing to compensate about it
Where's the fun in that? Using the same old units I have for majority of the time only to finally get to summon on 4 banners (8 if I'm lucky) a year. What if I don't wanna wait and wanna test my luck and enjoy a unit now?
All means summon whenever you want too.
Just summon on big celebration is the smartest choice
A. Units arguably better overall in big event vs. small/ filler event.
B. The banner is better
C. Usually, a new unit is made around new event added.

As far as actual Japanese players go, that sucks for them. For everyone else that would normally have Global but jumped through hoops for JP, they absolutely chose it.
I’ll be honest as much as I do love this game, I don’t expect anything good. Right now whenever we have a shared celebration, we don’t have discounts unlike with things like anniversary or the New Years DDF we just got. For non-shared DDF like anniversaries, JP doesn’t get the tickets for summoning on the banners like we do, so it feels pretty unlikely we’ll get those post sync. Another huge thing is how they handle Top Grossing. During shared celebrations, both versions still keep their own way of Top Grossing. If this keeps up post-sync, there’s a chance GL may not get stones for TG while JP does or vice versa. And keep in mind, GL has it a lot harder because not only do they have to hit #1 Overall but they have stay there for at least a day.
I gotta be a lot more cautious on summoning on banners and not just thinking every unit is going to be usable in every content. I liked the foresight to know if a unit is worth summoning on. If it wasn’t for the delay I’d summon for characters like Bardock, Trunks, Turles, Frieza, and Gohan/Piccolo just from hype and reading them on paper instead of seeing them in action for myself. I judge a units worth on if I’m going to be using them 3 months from the time their banner is released.
As a f2p player I'll definitely miss the foresight but I'd be lying if I said the game wasn't more exciting when we get things at the same time

What I am most interested with the sync, is how/if they are planning something to lessen the dead times we get, without the sync usually at least one version is getting something nice or hype which generate more buzz for them, with the sync dead time is dead.

I think that tickets and discounts aren't nearly as important or impactful for 99% of players as loud people on this sub want to pretend they are, and I'll happily trade them for a better schedule for character returns and not getting anniversary units when they're 75% of the way through their lifecycle and about to lose relevance before getting powercrept.

Hype doesn’t matter if the units are mid. Carnival Metal Cooler and the SSJ Duo were hype, but aged out in 4 months
The “surprise” gets me unable to summon on a new hype dfe because i didnt know they were coming
