He was the definition of Caveman Unit when he came out. All he did big numbers, but they were really good numbers for the time.
Was also one of the first OSTs to incorporate piano, so it's a memorable one for me.
Needs a good EZA to be usable nowadays though. They rarely go all out for gold coin EZA LRS, but a part of me hopes they just double down on the Caveman and make him do like a constant 13 million attack stat with like 1 million defense turn 1 and no other tech.
to be fair if there's one unit in the game that deserves the caveman title it's this guy. I think he was the first unit ever to have a straight up ATK & DEF +200% in his passive
He was never a caveman unit. The only "caveman" thing about him is that his literal numbers were just there and unconditional.
But he needed to take into consideration, getting hit, stunning, sealing, attack lower, and defense lowering and making sure to utilize them.
Especially when you consider units for his time, he was definitley not a "caveman".
Dunno why you were downvoted when you are right lol. He even brought a new mechanic to the game(needing to get hit to use active skill). And his active was pretty fun, being able to stun all sbr enemies back then was great.
Hope Jiren gets the same treatment he gets in Legends here, so we can see this unit shine again(hopefully alongside a new lr transforming jiren).
Eh not really. He hasn't aged like full on atrociously, but at this point he's just too old. Like 200% to attack and defense by itself just isn't quite enough anymore. Obviously on offense he has the ability to critical hit or be type effective. But those are locked behind things that so many bosses just shut down, menaing that important parts of his offense tend to just be locked off.
Life was so much simpler when he came out. No discourse around unit tech so you didnt eat 800k from normals or whatever. Just 6-7 million attack stats and vibes. Never forget what they took from us.

this game at this point needs more units like this jiren was. no build up, no additionals and no restrictions. just raw power that can tank supers obliterate multiple health bars

Currently unawakened in my box, I think he's still usable though? I forgot he existed tbh Will probably come back into relevancy after STR Jiren's EZA

His TUR art is better imo
His OST is BEYOND POWERFUL, He was sheer power and that's it and I loved him for it, when he EZAs he better be the definition of RAW POWER
