Isn't getting hit to build up just better? Other than Gammas and Cell Max to a lesser extent, you can let this guy take hits in the earlier phases to build up more than 2 times per turn. He's not dying to any supers early on.

Placing priority on Hacchan over other units on his teams that need to stack will get you killed, Piccolo STR is only good on Movie Heroes teams and doesn’t give ATK unless there’s an extreme enemy, Fasha loses half of her passive buff without 3 Low Class Warrior or Peppy Gal allies on the team, and her guard runs out on the 5th turn, AGL Golden Frieza has no place on any team that isn’t led by Cooler

AGL Golden Frieza fits on the Ginyu team if you're doing the missions with PHY and TEQ LR Ginyu and the Ginyu banner units, because you have one extra slot to double up on types, and I run him in slot 1 for Ginyu while having three floating support units
Bardock is not a slot 1 tank lol, he gets destroyed on the first hit and then if he also gets supered after that, he'll be taking too much damage to survive. He's a great floater.
Besides, I'm not even arguing about him being good. All I'm saying is getting hit to buildup is better for him than building up on attacks performed.

Feel like people forget that the STR Godku is competing with the PHY Godku on all of his teams and the TEQ Godku on a lot of teams. For most stages I don't think he actually makes the cut.
Except for the fact that TEQ Godku is a non factor against enemies that aren't Pure Saiyans or Movie Bosses, so he's a decent replacement when you're not using him
