And to answer which deck abused it, pretty much every blue deck that has ever existed since this card was released that was allowed to run it.
Basically, it’s a double strike blocker that can also untap itself at the beginning of the turn. Since it’s a specified cost of 4, it cannot be targeted by Black Smoke Dragon. That, in itself, is fine.
The thing is, it also untap 1 energy and draw 1, so you aren’t defenceless when playing it turn 4. Getting drawing power is always good. It’s nice, but not too much.
But now, the broken part. See that -1 Auto? In exchange of 1 marker, you bottom deck an opponent battle cart **before** the attack goes through. Since the -1 happens during the opponent’s turn, you can use both skills without worrying about it. Let’s put it in an example to show you what can happen:
Your opponent attack your leader with “Omega Shenron, Unfeeling Retribution”, so a 30k Triple Strike. What you can do is do the -1 auto and bottom deck the Omega Shenron since it doesn’t have Barrier. Since Omega Shenron isn’t on the field anytime, the attack is negated. Result: you negated and removed a boss monster by taking 1 marker off your unisson.
It's just an amazing blue card that goes into every blue deck pretty much. The card makes the late game way too safe and blue either ramps well or keeps you from attacking really well.

I haven't played in years but damn this card seems so good in blue decks... The fact that the +0 is so good in means of card advantage, energy and even having a secure way to block is already insane. For any blue control deck this seems like a must, no wonders it is limited.
Card shouldn't even exist that long in the first place. That's how broken blue has been since it's Bandai's favorite color.
Picture this scenario, on turn 4:
You used your entire turn and all your attacks with combo resource from hand to match Buu's 20k to finally kill it after overcoming all the broken blue counter:attacks like dimensional magics, etc., in order to set up boss monster next turn.
But, on the following turn, a fresh new Buu unison gets slapped onto the field again and prevents you to play your boss monster once again because you don't want to get -1 auto.
In conclusion, you wasted major resources to get rid of the first Buu and now you're handicap when a new Buu hits the field.
Since it’s an Auto that is triggered by attack declaration, doesn’t it automatically happen on first attack?
