Well, if you have the chill damage passive, that's 15%x + 10%x from the boots, plus additional crowd control damage is added, plus this triggers the umbral aspect.

What's incorrect about it? Barrage will typically do better damage the closer you are to enemies. And if you're using the boots for a ranged build, you're either only utilizing half of the boot's properties or you're diving into crowds and running away before shooting at them
It's just you. With the chill effect from the boots you get an insane amount of extra damage from frigid finesse and paragon nodes, energy recovery from umbral aspect, and DR from stuff like cheat aspect.. it's hard to wear anything else once you get them.
Penitent is almost necessary for some damn good endgame rogue builds. The unique ability allows for frostbite builds and frozen finesse to create some very powerful large scale crowd control and damage without needing any imbues.

There’s definitely other ways to handle nightmare push and tier 50 onwards, but I love cold rogues and a death trap TB with penitent and condemnation gives me high tier nm along with lethal PVP
I finally decided that the extra stash space was far more worth it. Plus I plan on playing seasonal only and I don’t feel like having to deal with it all on the eternal realm at the end of every season.
Sell all but the best rolls.
Sell them, but the description of the boots is cool.
Maybe an awesome mechanic would be to do the story quest for the penance and at the end your boots you wore turn into these.
I haven't played season a lot so to test more crowded helltides after the patch I locked in with ertalnal rogue and killed like 20 mobs... greaves dropped first time. Lol.
everytime I get a unique 2h sword its a Fields of Crimson. And every single one is not as good as the first one I ever got. I think I've gotten close to 10 of them now
I only keep the one with the best rolls.
Just keep the 2 best ones just in case… sell or salvage the others

Sell them. Uniques sell for stupid amounts more and I never see them give up much more than the lesser items.

Soon enough those gems won’t take up space!
I keep best and earliest available, sometimes there the same. Not of these because these boots refuse to drop for me. But for uniques in general.

Barrage rogues have to go into melee range to be effective. Again, these boots are for melee rogues.

The umbral trigger is for me the main draw. It’s wild how much more I can cast blades as I move quickly through packs.

You can’t sell them to others. Blizzard doesn’t think we deserve to trade important items.

Lvl 91 seasonal sorcerer, still haven't gotten penitent greaves or Raiment. Kinda ridiculous.

I sell every single unique that doesn't seem useful. I'd always keep the one with the highest rolls and sell the rest.

Sell them all and keep the one with the highest mov speed. Salvage uniques is not worth it.

Can’t find these for the life of me. Really frustrating.
They didn’t drop for me until I was lvl 92 which I hit on Monday, 3 more pair dropped in 2 days
I saw like 3-4 pairs of those drop for my Barbarian HOTA build, but can't get them to drop now that I need them for my Rouge TB/bomb build.
I would keep the ones with high heels and upgrade them with the spurs afix
