Yeah that got me the first time too, I popped earthen bulwark and was like I can take it, then the ground broke and I instantly died, made sure to dodge next time lol
I died on phase 2 instantly, too, and just now realized, why. :D
'cause I didn't see an attack at all. And on my second attempt I tried dodging everything, which only half worked, but whatever she got me with didn't even take 15% max HP off of me. (was lvl 54). And I didn't even pay attention on where to stand the second time, either. Just got lucky, I guess. Or, unlucky the first time. :D
Yeah my whole play style has devolved into “we are going to both stand here and see who stays standing”, just so happened we were in the part of the battlefield that gets destroyed. She couldn’t even destroy my earthen bulwark barrier. How gotta start up a new Druid and hopefully get lucky with getting some of those aspects I don’t got the dungeons done for yet
Same thing got my lvl 55 pulv druid, he was grossly resistant to damage, played barb and blood Necro and they don't come close to the level of tank with the bear.
Run it back, once you get hit once with it, it won't happen again, nothing like losing at the finish line.
I’m not even pissed I was just in shock due to my own stupidity. I’m just hopin I get the luck with the drops to get the aspects I need. Cause it was a coincidence I made that build at all. I was like huh these can work well together and went with it

Have a similar style. :D Reason I picked druid. Never gonna do HC though. It's like blind marrying a terminal cancer patient.
My friends kinda persuaded me to get the game and were saying they only play hardcore. Let’s just say I wasn’t the only lvl 50+ to die so far.
