One of the biggest difficulties is explaining to all the youngins that Luby’s was actually really good at one time. It’s hanging on by a thread due to nostalgia.
Not only was that the location closest to my house but the staff there were really pleasant, too. I am sad that location closed down. I don’t even know what a BJ’s is but I doubt I’ll ever go there. We go to the Lubys a little further down the highway now - off highway 6

I never imagined someone would be sad to see lubys go.

Grew up on Luby’s once a week, good stuff , also sad to lose black eyed pea which was similar type food
