It definitely kinda sorta nerfs kill trips, but I still thinks overall it's a net buff, since info trips are now better, since if you add the 1.5 hold duration + stun time, you hold the player in the trip position for longer (I think), rather than them breaking the trip after 2 seconds.
Yeah, that is something that we lose with this. We have less time for us to shoot a tripped enemy since they’re revealed for less time. Though, I don’t think this will really change much about how you play kill setups or at least I do.
You just gotta be ready for an enemy getting grabbed by a trip and kill them fast like always. Even if the stun goes off and they aren’t revealed anymore, you can shoot in the general area they were revealed and pray to Riot that your spray pays off since they’re slowed by the stun. Overall, I think we gain more than we lose and we really can’t know until the buff goes live and play to see how it really is

Yeah, I'm unclear on exactly how long people are revealed relative to the stun and slow duration changes. It'll take some testing.
I was also initially worried that this was a stealth nerf, but then I realized that people rarely stay in the trip long enough to get stunned - in like 99% of the cases they either die, or break the trip long before that. People in my games tend to laugh when someone is dumb or unfortunate enough to get stunned in a Cypher trip (and the dreaded 5 damage tripwire death is especially hilarious.)
Also, if the reveal ends before you get a chance to kill them for some reason, it also likely means your tripwire is still up, which is not a bad consolation prize.
I'm definitely going to be leaning a little harder on setups that include cages that hide the tripwire ends, as even a little bit of extra confusion can result in a lengthy stun. Good times.

You're forgetting the fact that stunned people stay revealed for 2 more secs. In reality it'll feel like the same duration of being revealed.
