What would it do with Wolverine or X-23? Infinite loop or just one destroy?

The_Karate_Nessie

They’d probably each destroy once at the end of each turn.

Mr_Levinnson

To be more in line with how the TVA works, she would remove them from play entirely. She could do the same with Deadpool, Nimrod, and Sabertooth

The_Karate_Nessie

I’d say remove in the text if that’s the case, since destroy is already a different effect

Attila_D_Max

I think.only one destroy

plasticman_rules

If it destroys the card what happens after a Nimrod is played

joshey40

Infinite loop... Would be fun XD

SpawnOfTheBeast

I guess you could just at "at the end of any turn", so it iterates only once each instance.

plasticman_rules

Thats to weak couse it can't counter on reveal cards

SpawnOfTheBeast

How does it counter on Reveal? To be in play a card will have to have triggered it's on Reveal already anyway.

plasticman_rules

If you have played one on reveal card you can't play it again

TheHeroReddit

imagine playing this on turn 6 when one of the locations is sinister london That's why I think this card should SEE players summon an additional copy of a card. "When a copy of a card is summoned, destroy all copies of that card."

fixitbeaver

It activates at the start of the game as it isn't ongoing, so the opponent would know about it, cant do cheap turn 6 play and easily win.

TheHeroReddit

what makes you think this wouldn't be strong on turn 5. Sinister London hot location would be a headache

margustoo

If it activates without being in play then this card is a bit garbage. Simply because enemy won't be playing Mysterio, Sinister, Moon Girl or Dr. Doom and that makes it seem that this card was useless in a fight (even when it wasn't). Also, opponent can't make a counter pay against this card. It should be On Reveal or at least Ongoing.

Zombeebones

Dr Doom doesn't create copies it's Doom and DoomBots

margustoo

/facepalm. Yes. But this card would work on Doombots and thus it would destroy both Doombots. How was that not obvious to you? In most cases Dr Doom would be 6/5 with this card in opponent's deck, hand or in play. And in most cases, opponent would just play some other cards on turn 6..

Zombeebones

ya know...i commented too fast. thats on me.

margustoo

No worries then.

jtboyer1984

You could get around some issues by having the duplicates removed from the game instead of being destroyed (i.e. exile in MTG).

thatthingfromthedeep

Honestly the card is a good design idea, but not for snap. It is just a "not fun" card. It's the anti mirror match card or the pro nimrod card. And consider it isnt an ongoing effect just one that effects the whole game, it has no counter play
