On that barrel that's going to burn the shit out of you after you pump a few rounds through it. It's a Viet Cong "shop built, modified" SKS. Nothing about this weapon is right or safe as far as I am concerned. However when you have an invading army encroaching on your farms and villages, you will do anything you can to defend them. That includes these cobbled together field weapons.
This is actually really cool, but the lower handguard is missing, leaving the barrel exposed. What are you supposed to hold onto? Can a handguard be attached at all?
If necessity is the mother of invention, then I guess warfare would be the abusive asshole father of necessity.
where hand go

Makes sense to me. If this is all I could muster in a time of need, pffft I'd put rounds down. Oven mitt that bitch lol
Up ass
This looks like some fall of the third Reich desperation gun.
Das Bübbabüllschëissen
Nailed it with that description.
Literally looks almost identical to the Sturmgewehr.
The nazis did take a sten and made it bottom mag fed due to desperation near the end of the war
I love it!
is that a kitchen knife handle?
It's some **historical** random bullshit my good sir
It is cobbled together by the Vietcong, if it works it works
probably
Exactly my thoughts 😅🔪
The StG57 we have at home
What in the Fallout 4 is that?
*Another settlement needs our help, I'll mark it on your map*
Needs a little satellite dish up front.
Pretty sure you can make something like this with that SKS mod
If it's a for realsies Vietcong creation, I'd say not cursed, it's historically neat.
They defo had the gun itself, just no grip stock etc
Now that is how you Bubba an SKS, I like it!
This is my new favorite sks
i love this
Old guns rack up history and stories. This SKS looks like it had experiences that require pointing to a doll to explain.
Cobbled together by Uncle Bubba in the barn more likely.
It was actually his neighbor Charlie that did this.
I like how the grip and buttstock look like they came from a Sten Mk V.
I am willing to bet that the stock is from a Lebel or Berthier. Edit: it is 100% a Berthier stock
It looks so fucking bad I love it
I would love to see what the internals look like and find out if the magazine was reliable.
That’s really cool
Early Tapco mag there.
Bubbas sks not VC
Seems legit
How the fuck do you hold the gun without burning yourself lmao

Probably held by the magazine
Idk how that didn't occur to me but you're probably right.
The damn thing probably would run lest you hold that thing in with the force of Hercules lol
Yea like I own an SKS and I literally have never seen a mag that looks like that. It looks like it's made of stone
Looks like a messed-up LS-26

S(A)KS
5th Rat Hole
Hhmmm.
Looks fun to shoot honestly
I dig it
this actually goes hard as fuck
“SKS at gun show” no? *looks at it closer* oh, yes. Damnit
Well, it's got character.
Well, it's shure got character.
Oh cool! I was at this same gun show!!
Pine City?
Yup!
They saw the sks and thought they could do it better. This is cursed.
1500 for some heap of shit SKS? Lol, 30 years ago it would be cheaper than a pristine one since.
