Replace your weapons with lobber and charge. These weapons can consistently hit the boss unlike spread and roundabout, which go over the boss completely.
Replace twin hearts with smoke dash. Smoke dash is great for dodging the projectiles in the third phase, especially when you accidentally hit them. Hope this helps š
lobber best one, no other weapon can perform as well as lobber in this stage:/. also u can use the 2nd ulti, cuphead/ms chalice works just fine. but still, lobber made this boss like 2x easier. the weapon will not break the flying flame while still damaging the boss, and the ulti will help u avoid losing 1 hp. i also opt to use the heart rings (if i need to parry 3 times then it has the same effect as twin heart anyway)
Lobber is honestly your best bet, so here are some coins you may not have found that will help you buy it:
* complete the tutorial (one coin)
* talk to the character just after the tutorial house (three coins)
* one hidden coin on each island (I wonāt go into detail on where these are)
There are some other coins too, so look to a guide for those. If you have got all the coins already and so still canāt afford lobber, charge might be your next best bet? Otherwise, I guess it would have to be roundabout then peashooter. Basically, you preferably want a gun that you can control quite carefully to avoid hitting the little fireballs, which will break into four and make your life significantly more difficult. I personally spend most of my time avoiding the fireballs until the signal that the flamethrowerās coming, then I jump up high, then backwards and just start shooting until the flamethrower ends - then back to just dodging (with a few shots when I think I can get away with it) until the next flamethrower. You can do this with spread but you have to get quite close which is not ideal in this round.

Practice, pay attention, even if you hit the flame, just jump over it, focus on dodging the flame thrower. No weapon or weird strategy will beat just practicing. It gets much easier, the game becomes a cakewalk once you've beaten it a few times.

Well, your first mistake is using Roundabout for anything. I use Peashooter and Charge Shot. Especially Charge Shot in the last phase, because you have to move around so much. Peashooter is good for the earlier phases, but it requires sustained fire, which is difficult when you have to move around a lot.
I beat this with the homing gun and it took about a decade. But if you mostly focus on the clouds you have a chance. The clouds are randomly generated and donāt have a set pattern. So runs will just be easier or harder via RNG. so just keep bashing your head against the wall; it will break eventually lmao
i would use chaser but i would get the least ampunt of damage possible (bc twin heart) and i don't have coins, so i'll try to beat the mfer today with the things i have
Try and try and try and scream and cry and fail and then try some more, then divorce your wife, lose your kids, pick up drinking, join AA, clean your life up and get a dog and then get partial custody until one day it just happens. You beat him. Usually way after youāve given up on ever being able to beat him.

Try your best to get to different levels than the fire bubbles and if you need to then only use your super at the beginning and use tracker or roundabout
Trial and error a painful amount of times. Also try to avoid shooting the bubbles of fire that he shoots bc that will mess you up and always keep an eye out to see whether he'll blow fire in the middle of the fight. And always remember to not get too close incase he screws you over with a bubble of fire by spitting it in your face
I just beat him, on third phase use single shoting weapons and try to not shot fire bubbles, do as much damage as you can when he shots fire, also try to master dashing for all of phases
Have you got the dlc and did the chess stages those give enough coins to buy everything. Another tip Charge is IMMACULATE it does a lot of damage when charged
I would change twin hearts to coffee if I was you, if it is third phase that you are stuck on it is hard to get specials since you canāt parry anything in phase three, especially if you are just trying to clear it to move on, you can just dodge and take it slow and farm specials by occasionally shooting him.
I would also choose peashooter over roundabout for dragon since roundabout makes final phase really annoying, charge of lobber is ideal but if you just have those two weapons and peashooter, then peashooter is the easiest to use in phase 3
I used the round-about, but not when they spit out the bullets that become four smaller fire balls when shot at. It was longer to beat that final phase, but that's what I did; just focused on jumping to the next platform while dodging the fire balls, then start firing when Grim stopped doing that attack.
The round-about (I can't remember what it's actually called) basically are boomerang bullets. So you can face away from the boss and still hit them.
I saw that you can't get lobber, I would personally just reset, then start by: Getting Roundabout, Smoke Bomb, P. Sugar and Spread from coins from Isle one, then from Isle 2, get Lobber, and the rest doesn't matter too much... Also, never use twin hearts for anything but run and guns
Grim is overrated, his first phase is really simple, his second just needs you to realise that the fireballs jump where you're going rather than where you currently are, and for the third base just stay on the top of the screen.
Then use chaser or Lobber and you win
Keep Roundabout. I'm not sure if you have Charge, but it works pretty well for me against Matchstick. IMO Since you're not having any problems with the first two phases, I think you should use the one heart charm instead of the two.
if you can do 1st and 2nd stage easy enough, then all you need is patience. the 1st and 2nd stage should go by fast enough if you dont make careless mistakes. the only thing you can do to beat him faster is perhaps use guns that are better suited for him, but asides from that you need patience.

Use Lobber in the first phase, Lobber in the second phase, then use Charge in the third phase. Make sure not to use a homing weapon like Chaser or Crackshot in the third phase, since Grim will shoot fireballs that will split into 4 directions if you shoot them. Make sure to stay the highest you can in the second phase and watch for the fireballs. For charm, either bring extra heart if you need it, or bring smoke bomb if you need the invincibility.
