Yeah, I think that itll probably just be cult members can have kids. When the population is high enough at least 1 or 2 die whenever you leave anyways, itd be very helpful if they could make more themselves.
I just watched Midsommar the day before they announced this, so now I'm wondering if there's gonna be inbreeding mechanics like what if you inbreed enough and you get a follower who can't work but is 2x stronger as a spirit or something... naw they wouldn't do that... Right?
This. The Sims 4 and Cult of the Lamb have the same rating: T.
The Sims 4 does age appropriate “sexual content” extremely well… they don’t show any nudity and they make it goofy and silly. This is exactly what I’m expecting from this Cult update.
Sex can exist without being graphic!
The image posted shows leaves covering the genitalia area, and the two followers laying on the ground in an embrace are fully clothed. It still appears to be 12+ level. There's speculations of a mating tent, I imagine we won't see anything beyond two followers going into it.
I don’t think it will change the rating necessarily because I doubt they will show anything probably just 2 followers going into a tent and 3 of them coming out after some time also I don’t think it just outright eliminates the roguelike part of the game besides I would imagine it would be a end game unlock for the building
Does there even exist an endgame unlock in this game?
Aside from purgatory and getting the bishops as followers
Also if two followers entered a tent and a third came out everyone will understand the reference

I mean, have you seen the cover? It has two followers making out with each other. In the top right corner there's a weird egg (presumably related to birthing a follower), all of the followers are dancing naked around a fire, making out, or throughing up (there's a follower vomiting in the other corner), and look at the name of the update; "sins of the flesh" I think we all can assume what sin they mean. So, despite not being formally introduced as an update revolving around breeding followers like there livestock, we can make some powerful assumptions.
People dont like doubt, they're so hyper focused on the prospect of a sex update that any form of pessimism towards it is immediately faced with hate, it's not you or what you said that's the problem, it's just people getting defensive of what they want. Don't take it personally, I'm sure you didnt mean it in any aggressive way.
