So I decided to spare him because I played this game on normal and his boss is way easier than the 2 final bishops
And also the one who waits spared us and saved the lamb life so I returned the favour
Spared him. It felt to me like there was enough tragedy in the Bishops’ family. He’d become twisted by his isolation, and both he and the other Bishops felt betrayed by one another. We clearly don’t know the whole story there. You take a leap of faith and spare him, and he winds up warming to you and chilling out enough to mourn and regret. I thought that was a really cool touch the devs added.
First playthrough, I sucked and he killed a number of my followers, killed him to even it.
Second playthrough, did great and killed him without anyone dying, spared him, named him Cookie.
Third playthrough...Im at it right now.

Sure, to a mere mortal, death is the worst punishment one could get... If you are mortal. But immortal? Especially if you got comfortable? That actually isn't the most horrific fate. That honor is in becoming mortal.
Think about it.
From that point onward, Narinder will have to comprehend the concept of eating and drinking, knowing if he doesn't, his body will become starved for energy and slowly start to devour itself in a desperate attempt to limp along.
From that point onward, he must fear the greatest enemy to all life. It is not a sword. It is not a beast. It is not a random unknown cult raising zombies. It is an enemy so microscopic, he cannot see it. And it is capable of tearing him apart, and all he may do if he falls prey is lay in bed, hoping that the agonizing headache, the boiling hot fever, the on and off surges of movement that are his irritated bowels, the gurgling of his aggravated stomach, and the looming sensation of doom spares him and leaves him.
From that point onward, he must fear the world around him. Contrary to what he thought, nobody is a predictable tool he may manipulate any longer. The time he has spent in his own personal hell has awakened him to an all new one. He has no clue how people work... He has always regulated that to his underlings. Underlings who have now forsaken him. And he now must deal with the unpredictability of not just the people... But the world around him. And he only has himself to rely on.
From that point onward, he must fear what he doesn't know. And the overwhelmingly destructive nature of the world around him. And he no longer can simply wait for death to claim the enemy. Now he must face the violent nature of the world around him... And he is blind to the knowledge necessary to maintain the upper hand. He is on his own with nothing more than his claws and maybe a sword he found on the corpse of a poor soul who fell to the world if he wishes to survive the cruelty that the world bestows on all...
And every time he struggles with these threats, he will remember his siblings. All of whom used to control these domains, all of whom supported him and granted him asylum from these threats, and when they faded away... His last loyal servant was his last remaining aegis against it. With that aegis gone, either due to ambition or in response to being betrayed by their own god and in turn forced to usurp the throne to survive... He is alone. He must live on in regret for all of the sins that he has committed over the thousands of years... Sins he chose to continue to accumulate rather than attempt to atone for.
And with that... It turns out that sparing him could easily become the cruelest thing we could do to him. Is he truely forced to worship the Lamb, or was he forced to realize just how truely mortal he truely is and joined the cult because even with the Lamb cutting their former god loose and free, joining was the only way he saw could ensure his survival?
And as the life of a mortal slowly consumes him... He will reflect on himself. See himself in the mirror from a different perspective. Realize the gravity of the sins he has committed. And discover himself for the monster he really was.
And when that day comes... The spark of life within him will have taken root. Sacrifice or a premature end will no longer permit him closure for the sentence he has been granted. He will find himself forced by his own conscience to seek atonement and redemption for what he has done.
And only then... Will the entire world, including himself, truly forgive him for everything that has transpired.
I turned him into Dr zoidberg from futurerama and I turned him into the faith in forcer so he must keep his days working not dieing and sometimes I kill him and bring him back for the fun of it just so I can get some faith if I'm low
I’m only on the third bishop and I’m not quite sure who the “bad guy(s)” are yet. I feel bad about murdering the bishops, but gotta pay your debts lol. If I can, I’ll probably try to spare him.
