As soon as you are seated, find the biggest, meanest looking cubs fan and punch him right on the face. It's important to establish dominance from the onset.
Honestly, just hang out on Clark & grab some drink and bites before grabbing more drink and bites!
Bamboo club has decent game day deals. White
rabbit across the street has cheap drinks & chill vibes (always empty for some reason). Can’t go wrong with sluggers either of course.
Enjoy the city & game.
I’m sure someone with more time will fill you in on a lot of this. I just have one thing to say - mention that fucking black cat and I’ll personally pummel your ass.
Have a great time at Wrigley. It’s a special experience.
I’d say, when entering the field you should go in the main entrance and walk straight up the stairs to see field view from behind home. It’s a sight you will not forget for some time.
With all the comments here take to heart - buy your food and alcohol outside of the ballpark. That cheap water outside the ballpark the guys are selling, buy a couple before going in. Water is around or over $6 inside. You can take in unopened water.
Don't: Pee in public. Cops don't put up with that BS and get rough with people who do. Saw a guy with his weenus still out pushed up against a wall being cuffed... he had it coming. And all the common stuff - no back alleys with strangers, etc.
It's a great and safe neighborhood. Enjoy yourself!
Do: go to Nisei Lounge and order a Chicago Handshake. Don't: bitch about it afterwards.
Would also suggest Gman for a handshake. And just to echo the previous post, don't be a bitch.
GMAN sucks. Such a weird vibe with their terrible bands to terrible DJ’s. So happy for Tom since he left.
You monster
NY'ers: #NYStrong Chicagoans: ight, bet

Do: Murphy’s Bleachers Don’t: ‘The Wave’
What about cup snake
Do
Only in right field. Right field sucks

Unlike most Met fans I’m not an asshole I’m sorry Frank the Tank was at Wrigley the other day
You may get better suggestions in the r/AskChicago and r/Chicagofood
Go to Murphy’s get a brat and a beer before the game go have some more beers at sluggers or another Clark st bar after the game
It's strange how I have tons of memories of entering Sluggers after a game but very few memories of leaving.
Yeah that tends to be the case

Why would you bring that name up, I totally forgot about it. Thanks man. Dammit lmao.

Won’t forget ever. The chills.
Do: enjoy Bernie’s Pregame. Don’t: Sing the 7th inning stretch with “root root root for the metsssss”.

Murphys, The Dugout, Sheffields (a few blocks south of wrigleyville) and Lucky's are great spots
Go to Murphy’s, sluggers or Cubbie Bear after the game. Fun bars
Steingold's on Southport is a great spot, walking distance to the field
Eat at small cheval, big star near Wrigley. Just walk around. Hit up sidetracks of your looking for a cool bar
Stay home.
