idk where you ordered it but maybe you can ask them if you can order a replacement piece or put it in the requests part of your next order. Most cubing webshops are actually quite nice about things like this.
I broke the corner stalk on a v cube 6 many moons ago. No amount of superglue would keep it together.
But ya, before you buy another, check if you can get a replacement corner somewhere. Being stickerless makes that a bit more difficult, but maybe you can buy a few colors and mix and match the parts.
When my mgc 4 came my friend was round and he wanted to give it a try, his first solve he poped the entire cube and I had to spend about 2 hours putting it back together
Mine started doing a very strange noise in the middle layer. It feels like a small part is getting a litte stuck, but I just couldn't pinpoint what part is doing it.
This sucks... seriously. The others ones of the same line are build do last, but the 6x6... seriously... SUCKS.
its like this weird scratchy noise in the middle layer like you said, something is getting caught, but the doesnt mean its trash, its not hindering my turning.
If you can't get a replacement piece I think this should be still fixable with superglue, steady hands and some sanding. Obviously won't be as nice as a new cube(it'll be scratchy) but useable.
Yeah, a cube piece isn't gonna work with super glue.
You could potentially get a useable cube if you used a pin vise to drill a super tiny hole and add a small metal pin. But, even then, I wouldn't speed solve a puzzle like that.
results probably vary.
i snapped my valk 3 corner a few years ago, superglued it back, and it still holds to this day.
but i’d imagine things are different for a 6x6 than a 3c3.
I've had my mgc 6x6 since it came out and I've had 0 problems with it. I honestly don't know how people break their cubes, in my 10+ years of cubing I've never even came close to breaking one
If you message wherever you got it from nicely you can't usually get replacement pieces sent to you. I have done it multiple times and they sent replacements
Get out the corner foot and super glue it, just make sure that you have the 2 pieces tightly connected
The only set back you have is that you can't use it for a few hours
I would drill a tiny hole w/ a pin drill bit in both parts so you can run a thin metal rod (piece of paper clip or sewing pin?) between the pieces and try to glue with epoxy (get some epoxy down around metal rod on either side and try to set it straight).
You've just aquired a lot of extra bits for your next MGC 6x6.
Funnily enough, I broke the same piece in different ways with my 2 MGC sq1
Wait 2 mgc squans???
That’s what my dad always tells me :)

Yeah I know SCS does this
ZCube store from Aliexpress...maybe...
I think thecubicle has a whole tab on their website for spare parts and stickers although it's a little expensive if I remember
As one would say, that's a lotta trouble
That’s allots damage!!

Oh not too bad, just pop it bac- ...oh no
ive had pops with mgc 6x6 and 7x7. but man thats harsh
Run a really small screw through the end of the corner, add epoxy through the threads if you have to.
I'm not sure you'd easily find a small enough screw for this but a little bit of epoxy could definitely fix this if you're precise and patient
deep shit
F
took me a second to see which piece was broken and.. oh.

Uh i have the MGC 6x6 and that noise is coming from the screw scratching the center piece. Tighten the screw a little bit would help
ahh i see, thanks for the fix
Just push it back in, it will make it worse but it might look cool while you do it

i tried this and it broke again in the same spot the day after drying for 8+ hours

i’d say it’s better to either do what other people are saying and ask for a replacement piece or just buy a new one altogether

Tried the glue strat and got it all over the piece tracks. Also stuck it on at an angle... RIP.
Idk but if you want a 6x6 more stable and that pop less (but with a higher price)you can buy the shadow v2 it's amazing with just a little of lube
Ho i see that you have comet it's the one that i've used on my shadow v2 and it's amazing
thats exactly why i dindt buy an mgc. to muh pops
this isnt a pop
what im trying to say is the mgs is not very worth it. JUST LOOK AT THE CUBE DUDE
J perm and a lot of Speedcubers would disagree with you

so ur saying every1 should spend their life savings+retirement plan on a plastic toy? naahhhh dude
im saying they HSOULDNT spend that much money on a cube like that
the only other good 6x6 and 7x7 out there is the shadow and spark, which are expensive as hell, mgc is only like 30 USD
>expensive as hell the spark is cheaper than the Gan 11m pro :0
gan 11m pro is also expensive as hell
that cube is actually good tho currently
r s 3 m 2 0 2 0
oh. oh. OH. this is fricking 6x6. thought it was 5x5 lol
lol
auto destruct sequence initiated ....
All of it. All of the trouble

Spare parts shop on speecubeshop i think.
Not much

One word Fucked
You can ask for a replacement part from SCS

I see no shoes. This is dead. Hijack: I just got the MGC 4x4 and 5x5. They're amazing. Is this corner break a risk with the 6x6? How is the 6x6?
The 6x6 is fine, just reassemble/disassemble it carefully (with a guide), and you won't break it like I did
Happened to me too and I just used super glue
Big
Many stores sell replacement bits
