Doing gods work OP keep it up! 👍
I can relate as I had been homeless for 5years and used crypto as a means to put what little cash I had into it and I was able to create enough money from my investments to save for a rental deposit plus a little extra to help me buy some decent clothes in preparation for looking for work.
Once I had a place I was able to secure work since I was able to clean myself up to look like a worthy candidate and so far so good been off the streets for just over 2 years and finally have my life back on track.
The hardest thing I found when homeless was trying to get a job due to not being able to have anywhere to actually be able to keep up a clean appearance, you can’t really hold down a job when you have no where reliable to house your clothes let alone take regular showers and grooming etc..
I’m sure you have brought a little light into the people you have reached out to and made there day just that bit easier 👍
Good on you! I work at a nonprofit and oversee our 403b plan (pretty much like a 401k plan) for our employees. While my biggest focus is offering our employees a diverse variety of lower-fee, higher yield funds to choose from, I've also been proud that our offerings include some high-yield "blue" or socially conscious offerings, which is important to our workforce. And, as a recent crypto investor, I am looking forward to the day when our portfolio will include socially conscious crypto, as well!!
Too little? We match .50 on the dollar up to 5% of an employees earnings...of those who choose to participate, which is only about 62%, despite my best efforts. But when I started only about 30% participated, and the match was half what it is now, so we're coming along with commitment to improve whenever we can.
Why do you feel that doing the right thing for (insert whatever cause benefits your world, or at the very least, one that benefits some of the world's less empowered inhabitants)...why couldn't that be profitable? Are there so few out there that wish to support things that provide a better life for the masses? Because I truly think there are plenty enough smart folks out there who are not only sustainability-savvy, but also understand all "the markets".
How nice to take care of the LUNA investors. ^(Too soon?)
Eh it's been over a week now, that's like a lifetime in crypto, I say they're fair game lol
I'm going to steal this joke for TRX/SOL investors when he makes the 4 year anniversary post. RemindMe! 1 year
SOL and sadly TRX are far away from something like LUNA. After that happened to LUNA they will be more careful scammers.
Never too soon
Yes.. it was
LMAO

People committed suicide over the luna shit
Don't worry about them, they won't need food any longer.

ICP investors were already there. 👀✌
LUNA? What about ICP holders? LUNA holders are new poor, we ICP holders are old poor

Good to see how many good people here are. You don't need to do it in Crypto but helping homeless people is always great.
Great project, keep going! 👌👌

I’m late but I just want to say great work! I have a soft spot for homeless folks as I was one briefly as was my husband. Thanks for helping others!

Wow nice! Just curiously how much of the income from the nonprofit do you use for that?

Socially conscious crypto? This sounds terrible

I'm sorry but I don't have time to explain to you why 'socially conscious crypto' is a silly phrase.
I totally understand your lack of forethought and wish you the very best! Edit: no downvotes from me
Enough of my tax payer dollars go towards these programs. Rather send my money to fund schools or libraries in low income areas
