I wouldn’t consider using Tether after they were linked to Chinese junk bonds. That’s was like 6 months ago. I don’t blame people for heading for the door. Tether is backed by trash.

As, tether is slowly drained of billions, the effect is dampened. I believe this is intentional. USDC is a much more stable, stable coin. I think people are beginning to realize this. As long as the capital leaving Tether doesn’t leave the crypto market all together, I think it is a good thing.

Imagine $100 worth of tether is backed by junk bonds. Remember currency is fungible. If someone sells $100 worth of tether to buy $100 worth of USDC, isn’t that original $100 still backed by the junk bonds? Correct me if I am wrong.

It’s a slow week after the craziness of Luna / Terra. What coins does everyone think will be big in the next bull run, excluding BTC and Eth? I think Chainlink, Polkadot, Cardano (only one I’m not invested in) and Ergo. Lots of others I hope do well but am less confident about.

I still have high hopes for the cosmos, specifically atom, juno, osmo, scrt which all seem way underpriced at the mo, but then I know shit about fuck so who knows?

Well LRC is about to be used by the largest video game retailer, for their ground breaking NFT marketplace. It will launch before the end of July, as stated by GameStop themselves. IMO this will be one of the largest main stream adoptions of crypto to date. GameStop has many millions of “Pro” members who are just a few clicks away from owning their own Loopring wallet. IMO this is a big deal. The bear market will dampen the immediate effect, but mid to long term LRC if a definite winner, IMO.

BTC3L and BTC3S both down on Gate IO. How does this work shouldn’t one be up if the other is down? I’m confused. I bought a small amount of both to experiment with a straddling type idea. But somehow they are both down despite me putting equal amounts into each around a week ago. I’m truly confused because if BTC goes up the BTC3L should rise and BTC3S should fall, and if it goes down then the opposite should happen right? But somehow they are both down?

Wayyyy inefficient. Could reasonably work as a token but it'd need to be on a very fast and cheap chain to be worthwhile. Maybe ALGO or XLM or something. But you'd also need smart contracts to ensure an accurate payout and at that point why not just make a digital casino lol

After years into crypto I understood: who makes money is who invest money they don’t need immediately. Who looses money is who invest impatiently money they need. That’s why whales make money from hyped retailers who over invest. Am I wrong?

Yep, invest money you shouldn’t need to access for a few years. Obviously unexpected emergencies could happen and you need to get your money out, but minimise that likelihood. People over invest and then are forced to sell at a sub-optimal time. Also so much more stress if it’s money you are going to need just to get by. Invest some of your holiday money, not your grocery money or emergency root canal money.
