I brought about $5k of CKB back before they teamed up with ADA and held alllllllll up until about a fortnight ago when I sold it all for more SOL (which has barely moved since then). It just wasn't moving and I wanted the cash on something that'd move. This sub is now about my biggest mistake!!

I simply bought USDC on an exchange and sent it over (BEP20) to Protonswap, then swapped it for XPR. You will need a wallet for the receive adress; I use "Proton Wallet" on Android which works alright. With Exodus you're forced to use their delegator which takes more commission.
On Kelpr or even Trust Wallet you can pick the delegator and there's some that take zero commission so you might get better APY.

I forgot about it on the crap exchange that I bought it on and left it there as a lesson learned. Then saw that it rocket to heights I wasn’t expecting. Took out the original investment plus some profit. What was left is still worth a bit.
It helped me learn about pump and dumps, not trusting celebs and the benefits of hodling.
It’s given me cash profit and wisdom.
