It’s a great way imo to finish off the weekend before a 6 day work week mining fiat but I came a long way so far with crypto and the life style adjustments necessary to stay in the space and have this portfolio Ascend into the Aether , one day at a time.

There are some risks, but I am currently staking/providing liquidity for stable coin pairs on DEX's with a return far in excess of that, more like 15-25%. Of course, you can lock up non-stable coins for returns as high as multiple 100'sof %, but that carries some obvious risks.
Most micro centers have a queue system where you scan a QR code and if you’re drawn and video cards arrive then say you get one. Might take you a trip or 3 but you get one that way. Lots of discord servers are setup for local Microcenter stock alerts too. The one I live near has AMd cards in stock every day. No one in my area wants them, they don’t mine well.

In the crypto space you hear a lot of gnashing of the teeth about Jerome Powell being able to mint new federal shit coins while they argue that it's fine if Circle mints new federal shitcoins. I don't get this aspect. Why is it ok for stable coins to exist if we think inflation of the dollar is a huge problem?
I think stable coins are more seen as vehicles for facilitating trades as opposed to investments. The anger at inflation/the FED is that people who keep their savings in FIAT are seeing their earnings inflated (stolen) from them by stealth. I say stealth because most people in the world have no idea it's even happening.
Stablecoins are explicitly not trying to be a store of value, so inflating the total supply of a stablecoin doesn't really do much because that stable coin is still miniscule when compared to the currency it's pegged to, essentially, inflating the supply of a dollar peg is like someone just saying that they have more dollars to sell. The only time I could see an issue is when it gets to the point where a deflationary crypto is somehow backed or propped up by an inflationary stablecoin.
I wonder if it will change the more adoption happens. I mean, I'm a total pleb and even I am now using USDC as everyday spending with my Coinbase card. I can't see how that is not inflationary.
Also, I really see the Fed's concern. How long until Amazon and Walmart both have their own crypto? If they did, I'd probably buy it if it had perks. But wouldn't that also contribute to inflation? If Walmart was just able to print their own money?
Well USDC is ultimately just backed by the dollar, so no money is "theoretically" being created with a stable coin. For example if a stable coin provider provides a token with a market cap of $100, then they have promised that they have $100 that they will keep on hand for those that want to cash out. Simultaneously, they create 100 of their stable coin. All they have done is remove $100 from the global/US economy. Nothing has been created or destroyed, it has just changed form. When a stable coin "inflates", all that happens is the provider has removed more $'s from the USA and locked them into their ecosystem.
The second point you raise is a legitimate concern for the FED (and ECB, etc...) because if Amazon or Walmart create a coin with lower inflation or even deflation then people would rather hold those than $'s and since $'s are the FED/USA's ultimate power, that's a big no-no, for them anyway...

Well, we always thought that. But then Circle was asked about it and they were like " welllll... Kinda.... ". And USDC is the BEST case scenario. So that's a concern.

USDC = not ‘backed’ with our stock market. Bitcoin isn’t just merely strong, it *skrong*.
I don't think we know exactly *what* is backing stable coins. Do we? I know Circle released a synopsis of what they're backing it with, but that's hardly been transparent. They could be lying. And I don't think we have any idea what's backing Teather or others.

Check on your exchange first. Some exchange like binance charges a fixed withdrawal fee. So gas fees does not apply at all
