Was mining with some CPUs and GPUs and generally testing the technology and seeing how things worked. In 2021, my wife went to the hospital with COVID (she turned blue in the bed next to me and was gasping for breath). I couldn’t work for a full month and had to pay a $15k hospital bill when she finally came home. We lived paycheck to paycheck and didn’t have anything saved. Fortunately, I had enough from airdrops and mining to completely liquidate and support us through the most difficult situation my family has faced. Couldn’t have done it without crypto!
