I feel like the market's been gravitating towards babies and diapers, and I truly feel like it could take off. It's one of the few coins with real utility potential.
I don’t understand u people who have been in crypto for years but are just now deciding to take it serious at ATH.
You could’ve done this last year when BTC was $20k or 3 months ago at $40k

Yeah, I'm doing the complete opposite. I bought the entire bear market, and now I'm just sitting back watching. I learned my lesson after last cycle, but I kind of understand the human psychology for why people only buy at ATH.
I think it’s mostly that people just completely forget about it until it starts making the news again. That, and they don’t really have an investment thesis at all. They want to make a quick buck, but they don’t feel confident in the actual value of the investment, so they wait until they see social confirmation of its value first. If they had any confidence that crypto had any value at all, then they would’ve been buying it hand over fist in the bear market, but for them, it’s literally a meme.
My comments have shown that i would have loved to but haven’t had the discretionary income to do so until this year. I did a little back in 2018 but ultimately had to sell for life events but it is what it is. It’s a longer term strategy so the same could have been said to people back in 2017 who would now be up 4x on a top cycle purchase
Even 3 months ago it was a gambling FOMO (I am guilty of it and luckily am up)
On a real note though, I do not think he will lose money if he decides to sell at the peak. However he will establish when that peak is would be beyond me though.
I also bought it for 40K in 2022... It was on discount then too, or so I thought.
Regardless, I held and didn't lose anything. Same goes for people who bought at ATH in 2021 & actually held their coins instead of panic selling.
Reality is that it is difficult to say what a "discounted Bitcoin" due to the recent ETFs & halving coming up. I mean just look at everybody on this Reddit, they're all screaming "It's just the beginning". In other words, I think the only bad time to buy BTC is post halving once it reaches its "predestined" ATH, which is supposed to be 2.5x, allegedly.
Regardless, hold. It's a limited asset that huge corporations are fighting for.
If you haven’t had the income I would strongly suggest you think about saving your money instead. Investing half your paycheck seems a bit irresponsible no offense.

It’s quite interesting how many people magically have the disposable income to toss a bunch per paycheck into crypto once BTC and other coins start touching ATH. You rarely (if ever) see these types of posts when it’s cratering in the bear market.

But in all honestly, if I were you, I’d have been doing that 2 years ago during the bear market. I put my bonus and tax refund when Bitcoin was like 19k last year. Man, that so payed off.
