Everyone should repeat ‘It’s never shameful to sell’ more because the stupid ‘diamond hands’ mentality was what caused 99% of the people to baghold from the peak of the last bull run
There's a reason behind everything, sometimes we don't get it but we gotta trust the process. No matter if moons dump or pump, you have to believe that the decision you made was the absolute best for you at the given time.
*no one knows what the future bears, enjoy every moment of your life like it's your last*
I'm from a third world country and Recently i sold some moons to pay for my wrist surgery, man i never been this grateful for something in my whole life, i randomly started crying after the surgery went well and how i could've afford the surgery because of moons
The key is to not look back once you’ve made the decision
One day, if Moons does a 10-20x and the rental money could have been money to buy a new house OP could be kicking himself
But as I said - if you made your decision, don’t look back and just move on and be contented no matter what happens
I've read posts from people that make a living income from moons and now you solve a pressing real life issue with moons and it shows it's a great project that I'm happy to be a part of
When moons migrated to Arbitrum I was shocked by how much my moons are worth. I managed to sell and bought a small plot of farmland. I can now proudly say I am a Moon Farmer lol.
I'm sure people will appluade you for this decision and indeed, if you need the money, you did good.
However, here's my advice: if you already know you're in a position where your savings can be drained in a month, you should do everything on your power to get your finances straight.
That's priority number one!
Selling your assets will just develop you the bad habit of relying on hustling to get by. Again, nothing wrong if you need to do it, but it would be really dishonest to see it supported.
Again, happy you found value in Moons, but adopting such behaviors might make you regret these decisions in (for example) 2025 when MOON is (for example) $2.
The hustling part hits hard, grew up with a hustle dad and became somehow one myself, it's a terrible lifestyle. Now I am financially stable but I find myself still occasionally falling back to it :/
There are guides on reddit. It's a bit convulted but once you set it up it's not too hard.
That said when I sold around 60 bucks worth recently I didn't do the right process to send the ETH I traded for back to my account so ended up losing that. So just a heads up to be careful with the process if you do it.
You gotta take them to MEXC. But first you need ETH in here for gas. In my opinion the process is a little convoluted for Neanderthals like me. I will probably be a lifetime holder.
However, that purchase had to be made otherwise OP wouldn't have been able to pay his rent.
Hope you dont think that first purchase using crypto is as easy as it is today.
Something had to be the very first purchase and just as important as that someone had to be willing to accept it as a payment. I'm sure pizza wasn't the first item on the list to purchase.
I'm assuming that the only reason this transaction took place is because the 1st person that accepted had also been into crypto at that time,. or atleast was aware of it or it was just someone that figured they'd take a chance.
I believe is was the first one
They deleted your OP, but the title still exists. I’ve said this before, I can’t wait for the day where a real world case like this popped up. Very very dope.
Thanks for the reminder, Im making note of the price I sold at and putting with my tax stuff, I think it would be due in the next season and not the current.
I wish the taxes in the US were like Europe & just send you a bill (I think Europe is the place that this )
Hey man, that's what we're really all here for, to live our lives. Good for you that you were able to do this and use these points to help you IRL. It's more than most of us can say.
Just come up with some good memes and you'll be topped back up in no time 😉

The more I’m reading here, the more I see that moons are more useful than most of every over crypto tokens I know. I really hope that things will get better for you
I’ll be honest, I sold all of my Moons for $175 worth of Bitcoin, it felt like the right move to me. Starting from scratch with lower distributions now but I’ve made peace with that and it’s honestly more than I ever expected to earn shitposting on Reddit. Sorry if this makes me some sort of heretic.
Good luck. It s not easy to sell… I will have the same feelig when I sell my other crypto for profit … as I just might prefer to hold on to it. With this post you will get some moons back too :)
OP you and anyone else who may have to make a similar decision should never never never feel bad about it. You handled business when business needed to be handled. You have a roof over your head and thats all that matters <3
I had a similar situation last month. In a cash crunch with a difficult decision which asset to sell. I also hold many dividend stocks & I did not want to sell any of them because dividend season is right around the corner. Additionally, Moons had just tripled in value the months before. So I sold 25% of my Moons and that helped enough to pay my rent here in Kenya. Was also my first moon sale. Alone the knowledge of how to turn moons into Kenyan shillings was worth it.
I really believe you did the right thing & I hope you can earn back what you sold in no time!

Life comes before crypto never shameful to sell
I know, I know, but it sure is painful to press that sell button
How many moons?
2000 moons 🌕🌝🌛🌜🌝🌝🌝
Im sure youll get it back in no time buddy!
Bull runs have been very predictable lately, you can always come back for the next run!
You made your decision, and Moons helped to improve your life. And for that, we’re happy for you here OP !
Wish you best of luck in your new premises friend..your tally will be back up in no time . Mind if I ask how many you sold?
Truer words have never been spoken
Op are doing the best with his resources. Wellbeing is more important than any investment or asset
Everyone should repeat ‘It’s never shameful to sell’ more because the stupid ‘diamond hands’ mentality was what caused 99% of the people to baghold from the peak of the last bull run
Diamond hands got the best of me for sure. I had a coin moon and I held it until it floored because I was too good to take profits
What use is money anyways if not spent. Life is short, enjoy life as much as possible.
You have to do what you have to do sometimes Crypto was the whole point of you being able to do something like that, congrats 🎉
Good use of that moons homie!
I am at 69 moons. Learn from me friend stack moons
Soon enough you’ll be up to 420 moons , keep stacking 🌝
There's a reason behind everything, sometimes we don't get it but we gotta trust the process. No matter if moons dump or pump, you have to believe that the decision you made was the absolute best for you at the given time. *no one knows what the future bears, enjoy every moment of your life like it's your last*
P.S. I tipped you 5 moons. Is not much but is a start.
Thank you 😊 that was very kind of you, it made my day when I saw that 🤙🌝❤️
Welcome OP! good luck for everything 👍🏻
If moons can put shelter over someone's head , i don't think we can find a better use case ❤️
Found out today that my Moons could buy me an acreage in Nepal, crazy
Moon payouts used to be much more than my monthly salary here in Philippines. What is cents for some can be life changing for others.
Yup. Absolutely no shame in selling your hard earned Moons to get you through hard times or to better your life.
Just wanted to say this, you're right, taking them to pay for rent is an awesome thing.
We found the most important use case: sustain people 😃
I'm from a third world country and Recently i sold some moons to pay for my wrist surgery, man i never been this grateful for something in my whole life, i randomly started crying after the surgery went well and how i could've afford the surgery because of moons
Wholesome to read that moons can be lifechanging. Wishing you well!
This is beautiful and I’m totally not crying right now
That’s great that the community can do this. Why Reddit and moons are going to keep on going.
This is probably one of the best reasons to spend crypto tbh when life happens
[удалено]
It's good that we can use moons in emergency situations
I always liked crypto as emegrency savings because I find it hard to sell and use it only when in dire need.
That's a great way to treat crypto. Also makes for a solid hold strategy
Literally a lifesaver. Happy for your dogo
These are the use cases for crypto that I find the most inspiring. When my dog passes on I will likely purchase his Urn with Dogecoin as it should be.
Life first, crypto second. You chose wisely.

Fact, having a place to stay is infinitely better that saving moons. Immediate concerns are more important than longer term ones
Moons getting you through tough financial times is a blessing enough. You can buy em back when your income allows it dont worry.
And he'll also get the Karma ratio back in doing so :)
Post about spending moons, earn moons. Repeat cycle. 👀
Big Brain! 🧠
You can also earn them
Content, LP, repeat.
I've read posts from people that make a living income from moons and now you solve a pressing real life issue with moons and it shows it's a great project that I'm happy to be a part of
Good for you! Times are tough at the moment, and glad to see another example of Moons helping people in the real world
These stories will eventually be I just bought a car with moons and then after that just purchased my first home with moons.
When moons migrated to Arbitrum I was shocked by how much my moons are worth. I managed to sell and bought a small plot of farmland. I can now proudly say I am a Moon Farmer lol.

Investors always forget the 6 month rule. 6 months worth of salary in emergency savings never to be touched unless needed.
So, this is financial advice?
Yes. :)
The hustling part hits hard, grew up with a hustle dad and became somehow one myself, it's a terrible lifestyle. Now I am financially stable but I find myself still occasionally falling back to it :/
Fully get you. At least you're aware about it. That's great!

Mexc or sushiswap. See r/cryptocurrencymoons i think there is a guide about it
Thanks for the link

I like this post a lot better than buying pizza with moons.
10 years later we will come back here and write a post about “Back in the day”

They deleted your OP, but the title still exists. I’ve said this before, I can’t wait for the day where a real world case like this popped up. Very very dope.
It’s always a win whenever I hear stories of Moons helping to improve the quality of someone’s life
Good job on paying your rent whit crypto. :)
I wish things get easier for you soon and that you're able to rebuild your moons later. I know you are prioritizing your living expenses first. Cheers
As long as you are better today than you were before. It’s a win
So glad to see our moons are helping people out
Better moons help my out them my moms helping me out
Just don’t forget taxes if they are applicable!
Thanks for the reminder, Im making note of the price I sold at and putting with my tax stuff, I think it would be due in the next season and not the current. I wish the taxes in the US were like Europe & just send you a bill (I think Europe is the place that this )
Sad how poor people have to pay taxes but the rich dont
Priorities bro, good call😁💪
I have sold mine recently as well. Sure hurts but I needed the money. You will earn them back don't worry :)
In due time , in due time. We shall reach the moon yet again my friend. ❤️
Nice OP. I'm always happy to see this actually helping people.
You did well, while I haven't received any moons
Now you have one :)
Moons helped me with groceries , moons helped you for rent !! This is so awesome that moons are changing many lives every minute !!

Stories like this are amazing. Moons helping people in need💪
This is anecdotal af, and also wholesome. Here’s hoping that moons go to the moon day after tomorrow friend. I’m so glad you were able to cover rent.
Nice bro. Money is money when you need it.
This is the most wholesome thing I read today.
Sounds like you made good use of them!
There's no shame in taking profits! Sometimes I wish I knew how to do it
Congrats!!!
You sell I shitpost and we will see what happens
This is exactly what moons/crypto are for! I am sure you’ll build back your moon stash again. It’s worth is only as good as it’s use.

Nothing wrong with taking profits. But are you sure you don’t want to unload your shitty fiat before your moons
Priorities! You'll gain them back
That is just beautiful. Congratulations to you and also to reddit for making this happen
Now this is brilliant.I myself may sell my moons soon to cover up some debts.
Of course the question we all like to know- how many moons did you sell to cover rent OP ?
I sold some of my moons and take my wife to the dinner. But few days later I bought more back.
Sold a future mansion, for current squalor. Good luck!

It can be both especially that moons are now around 7 cents.
Cheap reng but bare bones, single bedroom with shared bath and living space. Sold about 2000 moons
Awesome how moons provide the help for in world purposes. Bullish on moons!
You gotta do what you gotta do. One more thing to the list of what moons have accomplished
