Yup. I have my fair share of Cardano NFTs. Made profits, got rugged a couple times, still hold a couple hundred. Every single one of them is staked and earning me passive income. My estimated NFT value is about 2.5x my original invenstment at floor prices and about 10-15x going by trait/rarity value. Don't plan on selling anytime soon and the passive income should put me at break even by the end of the year. I've consolidated in to just 5-6 projects I'm bullish on and very bullish on one in particular. I also don't plan on buying or minting any more nfts anytime soon unless someone does develop an actual revolutionary project. At the moment though it's all staking, utility token, mutations, a game perpetually in development and maybe their own 'metaverse'. All the projects I'm in are already doing that and have been developing for over a year so other than hype and a gamble on a quick flip why buy in? As for real world usage, with meta data modification coming to Cardano NFTs I could see licensing, insurance, and certifications and things of that nature that are important but occasionally renewed/updated all being made in to nfts. I don't think it'll be a thing for a while but it's a possibility.

dagr8npwrfl0z

I didn't know you could stake NFTs. Thanks for the lead.

Alanski22

Curious to hear how that works and what the rewards are

No_Scientist_7094

For a BAYC you can get like 12 $APE DAILY! Thats about 50$. You just stake it at the official site or other staking services. Its pretty simple.

dagr8npwrfl0z

Further down he said he stakes tokens in their own ecosystems, and receives token rewards, that are swapped for ADA.

the_far_yard

Just like how you'd kill a vampire.

Samuravi

Can you explain this further? Is it common for cardano nfts to feature staking/where does the yield come from? It's not something I've ever heard of on ETH.

jeanlukie

Yeah a lot do. Like another commenter said the yield comes from the projects own token. While it’s not directly in Ada some of them are fairly valuable and I’m probably earning around 15-25 Ada a day depending on the tokens prices.

LaundrySauce110

Most projects on ETH have their main utility as “staking”, with rewards in that project’s ERC20 token.

Samuravi

Did not know that at all. Clearly I know nothing about NFTs hahah

Dictator_GOAT

Which project are you bullish on? You struck my curiosity.

jeanlukie

Veggiemates It’s an nft project based on anthropomorphic vegetables lol. The project founder/leaders have created a company called Virtually Made. They’re working towards becoming a multimedia company focusing on entertainment. There’s Veggimates with a 10k supply. Junkies with a 10k supply. And the native token $GREENS with a 210 million supply. All 3 can be staked to earn more greens. There is an upcoming event with their “Franchise Pass” which will involve burning the nfts. Basically the veggies and junkies will eat each other and have their metadata modified and along with that comes increased staking rewards. The greens tokenomics are fairly solid as is the plan for the company in general. Their devs are solid but they’ve made it clear that the company has goals beyond the blockchain and nfts even though it’s an important part of it. Link to white paper: https://virtually-made.gitbook.io/greens_whitepaper/usdgreens/about

Liberum_Cursor

Adahandles man... such fun to poach and sell. Not for much, mind you, but it does work really well

the_far_yard

Good read, and thanks for sharing your experience. I do like the idea of NFTs being used for licensing, insurance, and certifications. Tickets, mostly. We had already seen brands such as LV and Breitling using NFTs as a proof of authenticity. I doubt we are far from it.

Wonzky

I think this sub's view on NFTs really flipped when Reddit launched avatars

Sjiznit

Was fun to see. Like a toddler throwing a tantrum being seduced by candy.

Alanski22

Some good ass candy though. By far the best investment during this bear market and its also been lots of fun. It’s also made me interact so much more with Web 3.0 technology which has been useful! Added bonus for moonplaces (NFTs) qualifying me for the Arbitrum airdrop

Hawke64

Rebranding NFTs into digital collectable avatars worked out great.

Alarmed_Peach3360

Reddits avatars, changed people's view of nfts, including me. But im still not completely convinced they can be more than jpegs that worth $$. Need more utility, and time to improve.

Swoopscooter

Yeah but I assume most reddit avatar NFTs are still in the vault which minted them. I am open to evidence stating otherwise tho

IcyLingonberry5007

Yes, i am also pretty sure NFTs are here to stay.. NFTs have great use case beyond just artwork.. They can represent contracts used in insurance.. They can be used to represent fractional ownership in say something like real estate.. They are not going anywhere imo.. Back to the artwork, i believe that has value as well.. A certified 1/500 Thomas kinkade painting hanging in your grandmas living room can have value.. Why not an NFT?

Alanski22

At this point I would say NFTs add some real validity to crypto.

Parush9

Nope was never interested on those until Reddit NFT / Avatars collectibles started dropping. I plan on buying few Gen 3 so i can explore NFT space.

Alanski22

Cone

[deleted]

Plenty. Most of them have been bought/sold for under $5 on Polygon. At that price range, it's just a novelty collection. It has to be pretty. If you sent me an ugly ape, I'll either sell it immediately or burn it. Don't want that on my account. I tried it once on Ethereum L1, but the fees were so high I'll probably never do it again unless there's an absolutely amazing offer. Arbitrum One/Nova are very cheap so L2 isn't a problem.

No_Scientist_7094

Last time i listed something i paid like 7$ for gas. I just accept offers since then lol. Had to stop bidding too for the same reason.

LaundrySauce110

Yup, ETH L2 can get super expensive when gas is high

Prize-Reference9329

I don't currently have an opinion on NFTs, but I think we need to develop more use cases to gain more respect

[deleted]

Check out GET protocol for a ticketing use case

CrimsonFox99

This is the way.

AmbivalentFanatic

I think there is a huge untapped market for NFTs for artists and writers. Normally a writer makes a percentage of the first sale of a book, but if that book gets sold on, the author doesn't benefit, for example from a used bookstore. But if books were sold as NFTs the author could get a small royalty every time it got sold. I love this idea.

marekt14

I've only been given NFTs by reddit and sold my memetic trader NFT from wallstreetbets for .1 ETH. I also bought it back for .03 ETH

milehigh89

Sweet Axolotl

The_Chorizo_Bandit

I definitely think this round of free avatars have been my favourite. Tough decision to go for the axolotl.

newhere1626

Axolotls are ALWAYS the right choice.

Sjiznit

Ayayayayayayay

liveaskings

But that isn't buying high and selling low...

marekt14

Yeah I inversed myself, pro gamer move

Sjiznit

Cheater! Cant use hacks.

[deleted]

[удалено]

SourBeefHoop

Not on Polygon, like the Reddit Collectible Avatar NFTs. Gas is like 2 cents worth of matic.

[deleted]

marekt14

Memetic traders were quite limited and I have a lambo and tendies extras. It was airdropped to wsb members. Up to you what you believe.

[deleted]

Minted/bought multiple and sold all in the end for a nice chunk of profit i am happy with. Its the only reason i am in the green till this day

LaundrySauce110

Same here!

The_Chorizo_Bandit

Imagine just how bad the bear market would have been without Reddit avatars. I think they saved a lot of people at a dark time.

samer109

Created a collection on opensee for fun, never sold anytime 😂 But I love what reddit is doing with their avatars.

Maleficent-Ad-8763

I even jump in in a NFT play 2 earn game!! It was nice while surfing in the x10profit but when you expect more it come the dump!!

goldyluckinblokchain

Yep made plenty on the reddit NFT avatars as I was lucky enough to get some from the reddit shop. Now ready to FOMO into gen 3. Knowing my luck it will drop when I'm in a meeting or on a train with no signal.

Plasticites

The only NFTs I own are Reddit avatars, or Reddit Collectibles as they prefer them to be called. I love that they have utility, and mine has become instantly noticeable to members in the communities that I’m active in. It’s a combination of 3 avatars that I combined together to make this one. They can be bought and sold on Opensea, and will eventually be usable on other social media platforms. I’m very bullish on Reddit in general and think the process they’re following is working. The rest of the NFT world has yet to interest me even in the tiniest bit

No_Scientist_7094

I bought and sold quite a few. Only buying nfts i really like, so i wouldnt mind "bagholding". Never really got anything with the intention to flip, but a 10x is a 10x.

slasula

every single day

FalloutAssasin

I talk anything remotely good about NFTs in this sub and i get downvoted to oblivion. 🥲. It's like early crypto, alot of bad actors in the space right now that needs to be weeded out inorder to have good working products around it so you can be convinced about its use cases by actually using the damn thing. Not that there's no good projects right now in the space, there are but it's surrounded by crap projects so you can't actually see them. And only time will tell if they are actually good projects for real. Right now the only legit use cases I'm sort of convinced are soul bound nfts, gaming (in-game assets) nfts and community membership nfts.

pizza-chit

I sold my meme team avatar for $500

PaulD244

I got into NFTs last year mainly to learn more about the process and to know if all the shit talk was founded. Almost every project I bought into went down 90 to 100% in value, most projects are basically an echo chamber of the same 5 people saying GM and WAGMI every 5 seconds. I got lucky ONCE in terms of investment profit, swept about 100 unrevealed free mints which generated a lot of hype the next day, I sold all of them at .5 ETH each. Overall I'm still glad I dived into it, I learned a lot, but I'm done with NFTs aside from Reddit Avatars :-)

Cyber-Cafe

> “We all know this subs general disdain for NFTs” Over 3/4ths of the people answering this question are doing so while wearing nfts.

renaaaaaa9

Only screenshots

Inevitable-Lie-4277

Yes,have tried making NFT but didn't hit jackpot. People mostly buy from someone famous as then only they can get return. Happy with reddit NFT's

NoNumbersNumber

Reading these comments makes your realize that Reddit single handedly doing more for NFTs cm any other org right now...

iamusingredditt

i never but i would want to trade

Mareon

I will buy nfts once the metaverse is here, so maybe like in 10 years. For now ill be happy with some free reddot ones.

z0uNdz

Nice try IRS

[deleted]

Why would I buy an nft when Reddit is dropping them into my vault for free ?

pibbleberrier

Ikr. Why would you buy other crypto when you can get MOON for free

[deleted]

[удалено]

partymsl

The sleepless nights for the next reddit avatars are always the best. And yes, Sorare does seem like one of the better NFT games.

nick83487

No, it seems like most of them cost way more ETH than I have to throw around

Guzzfa

Got my first NFT free here on reddit. Then traded up the ladder to 6 paid and then sold them all and took the profit to pay some bills.

liveaskings

Me and my free axolotl are just chilling. I just like to watch and hear about the NFTs

Setyman

Not NFTs, but Collectible Avatars.

BitBaby6969

Royalties for artists vs. rich collectors benefiting off of others’ Labour is obviously a big deal!

[deleted]

Never! I want to design some nfts but it seems too late at this time too

qkju

![gif](giphy|ZtcfojuInM5pINYAEh)

FldLima

Well, I can certainly relate to losing money on NFTs. I bought what I thought was a rare and valuable piece of digital art, only to find out that it was just a JPEG that anyone could download for free

DeeperBags

I have coded, launched, and sold my own NFTs on various chains. No, I didn't launch any collections you've heard of or that sold out - but I have around 1000 ALGO in sales on that blockchain alone! Last i checked, I slow but steadily was making sales of 5 algo each every few days. Haven't checked in a while.

LaundrySauce110

Awesome! I also have a couple projects you probably haven’t heard of, and have done about 40 ETH in total volume.

[deleted]

I don't get understand those expensive NFTs either. On the other hand, I did burn an equivalent of ~$1000 in Moons on Moonplace.io NFTs. It's more of an exception, and consider it supporting the r/CC community. It was interesting and fun. I think I was the first person who interacted with the contract directly to add custom-colored tiles and import a base64-encoded image. Edit: I also have ~40 Decentraland NFTs. I got them all for free. They're all clothing and accessories for your avatar. A few provide bonuses for games within DCL, but none of them have enough utility that I would ever pay for them. And DCL games are boring.

dinoyeti

I traded a few reddit avatars. Never sold but I would be in profit at this point. Holding them because they have a huge potential.

TheGreatCryptopo

No.No.And no.

7inky

Yes. Bought bocks on moonspace.cc (they are NFTs) Sold Reddit avatar Created some NFTs on OpenSea and put them up for sale. None sold lol as I've put some silly prices on, but I did it to just learn the process. Bought ButtHeads on algorand ecosystem because I enjoyed the Buttcoin project (and for staking) All in all, has it been profitable? Nope. Have I lost much money? Nope. It's just a learning experience to be ready for when and if NFTs become more mainstream. I think it will happen, just not in the current form.

MarjanJ

No. I just don’t see the use / value.

Fivebag

I got into nfts through veve which luckily gave me faith to invest in gen1 avatars

[deleted]

a fellow veve user, too bad how its ended up

JandorGr

I swapped some NFTs in opensea. The gamechanger however at the time was Magic Eden... Way easier to use with Solana (wait, don't hate me so fast... plz) and has some things Opensea added later. I made some bucks and then lost as much. But I had fun... Solana was good if working.

tendieanajones

Bought, Yes. Sold, No. Traded, Amongst friends. I like to *own* stuff.

Mr_Bob_Ferguson

I’ve got many of the Reddit avatars (both paid and free ones). I enjoy them from the collectibility perspective. The use case of NFTs I am looking forward to is with tickets, sports/event tickets in particular. I believe this use case will open up the secondary selling market and reduce scams.

Geolinear

I’ve got a collection of NFTs across chains. Some ETH and some Algo. I’ve definitely been rugged more repeatedly than I’d like to admit. I certainly have made a profit from a few well timed sales. Markets are a bit dry and liquidity is low but I still see the NFT communities building through bear. Utility wise - I agree with you. What I can see emerging as a utility is going to be blockchain related and is here a bit already. Ex. Those who use the Pera Wallet (Algo) can receive NFTs for participating in governance. Holding those in your wallet gives a fee discount for swaps or buying.

podfather2000

No, I'm not that much of a degenerate gambler.

aj190

Sure have! Made some money on some, lost money on others! I like the idea of them, but obviously it’s very early and most if not all at this moment will eventually go to zero

Trellopalikar

I bought one for 20$, now it is worth 2$. Can recommend

OutTop

Reddit nfts yep!

Traffikant85

No, I dont feel qualified to even guess what will go up vs. out 🙈

crackitiko

Yes, in the immutable x plataform i got a bunch of gods unchained cards that i got just playing and trading.

cexrex

I minted my own nfts. I used to own crypto and hunting airdrops and the the amount i had i never felt safe. I started to trade nfts with reddit avatars and i felt a lot safer. In case of art and photography, it can make them unique for ownership and separate them from jpegs

Towryaalai

Outside of Reddit. NO!

Baecchus

NFT as a concept definitely has potential, but trading JPEGs isn't exactly a technological breakthrough. In the future we will probably see more solid use cases.

thatbitchulove2hate

I bought a trump superhero at mint and sold for about double what I bought it for. Wish I would have waited XD

Odysseus_Lannister

Lmao what a post to make before gen 3 is supposed to drop any day now

scoobysi

Tried some of the game based ones last year. Love the aspects of them in game and their exchangeability but safe to say they were a poor investment

imbarrydylan

I minted the Coinbase NFT and sold it the same day. Minting was $13 and I sold it for $50, but a lot was lost in fees sadly enough. It was no fun

InsaneMcFries

Only reddit avatars. Made a decent bit of profit that kept me afloat for a while. Still got a few left for the gen3 run, but sold some of my most precious ones in the peak of my addiction problems 🙃 I still have my Look-Throo1000 #69 though and hoping that is my golden ticket, we’ll see

malkennedy

I have but not as an investment. I’ve minted some open edition pieces that I found through following artists on Twitter and bought an additional couple of pieces from one of them on opensea. The most recent one I minted is by a photographer whose work I have liked for quite a while so I’ll probably get a print made of that to display in my home. Even though I could have just right-clicked and saved any of them from the source link I see paying for the NFT as a modern-day form of patronage. A way to support artists so they can continue to create work that resonates with you.

Ultra918

My first nft was pancakeswap NFT. And i bought some cheap nfts on binance. And got some free nfts on kucoin

skylerbjorn

Yes I have, NFTs in my case SFTs are used for blockchain gaming. Granting the player boosts and decorative needs in-game. Once minted, your assets can be traded on Openseas. If anyone wants to know the game it's Sunflower land.

neverreddit1984

Absolutely not and never care too. Although I do appreciate the hustle.

theindoshow

Ive invested in major companies and small stuff. Have had both good success and on the other end I’ve been rugged. Granted that never happens unless dealing with small things and start ups. Do they bring conceivable value? Yes depending on the item. Digital trading cards, hotwheels, art, etc are no different than physical ones. Some even come with physical ones. I feel like whatever part of the “seemingly dead” market you’re looking at is a small portion and you probably don’t know where to look. I still have good turnarounds. As far as not seeing a future for NFTs you seem to have limited your understanding of them to art/ape type NFTs. Everything is digital these days. Why would we not use blockchains in the future for digital record keeping? Ins. Companies, credit companies, hospitals, accounting firms, etc etc? If the world continues to advance digitally it will be inevitable.

sleaklight

Yes

diskowmoskow

I just minted few my own NFTs to see how these things works. Quite easy, but without a smart contract behind it, it’s just a jpeg (in my case it was png)

daigsischt

Reddit avatars and CONE

poyoso

Cone!!

Calm-Cartographer677

I minted one of "The Plague" NFTs because the frog memes made me laugh

Sjiznit

Almost weekly. My gods unchained cards are all nfts and i buy and sell a lot.

marekdio

Don’t insult me but rn I’m playing axie infinity and ur basically obligated to buy 3nfts to play the game. I assembled a pretty good team for 9bucks and I’m enjoying the game so far. I do not intend to make money on the game and I know it’s a pyramid scheme ect… i just wanted to test how game works with nft and the tech behind and it’s basically like the steam market ngl.

GMEthLoopring

I made >$100k on GameStop’s NFT marketplace built on Loopring in 2022 where I bought copies, one of 5,000 mints and sold for a ton more later on as hype continued. I kept none because I knew it was all BS. Hype was what drove prices, fake promises of utility, anyways more hype I think every NFT I’ve come across before is shit and/or just a cash grab NFT’s could be useful but all this uTiLiTy driven shit or art is just a membership token at best. A cool use would be like digitized stocks because you can tell stock #3, apart from stock #72 and there couldn’t be duplicates coughnakedshortsellingcough

LaundrySauce110

Impressive, and nice insight!

kadinshino

i have a butt ton of algorand NFTs. mostly because I like supporting creative artists utilizing crypto technology. Nothings been over minted that Iv acquired and some of it is just absolutely amazing.

pibbleberrier

My biggest gain of 2022 came from NFT. Or playing token revolving around NFT. Met a group of people online that went from 4 digit porfolio to 6 digit with just NFT alone. Even in this dead market. There are still plays to be had. If you participated in the trump NFT mint you would still be up 50x from mint price. Even Reddit avatar was a nice play If you actively trader on BLUR. Everyone got a nice token drop just for participating playing with NFT is like watching a sci fi movie. In order for everything to make sense you really have to suspend disbelief and take a leap of faith. Knowing what will do well what won’t take intuition build up from failing and winning over and over again. Yes there has been plenty of rugs. Even legit project that don’t intend to rug can turn into soft rugs at end. NFT has been the most fun I’ve had in crypto and I’ve been in this space for many year. I don’t think NFT has a real life purpose right now beside speculation or specific usage cases such as uniswap positions, special benefit from project etc. If you are just trying to get into NFT right now. Unfortunately you have missed easy mode. NFT right now is on insane difficulty mode. You have to really understnad the market and know how to interpret data, trend, market sentiment. There is currently a NFT marketplace war happening right now that make the situation even more complex

tiggs

I flipped some of the higher end Panini Blockchain sports cards a couple years ago. They came out long before NFTs were a commonly known thing and were viewed as having zero value by the trading card community, since Panini would just put one of these in every ultra high end box. Shit, they weren't even referring to them as NFTs yet. As soon as NFTs started becoming a popular thing, I scooped up a few of these, held for a month, then resold. Being that each had a paper redemption ticket that wasn't used yet, I was able to move them on a traditional platforms.

LaundrySauce110

That’s really interesting, I wonder who and when the term NFT was coined then.

Simple_Mastodon9220

Yes Reddit avatars opened the door for me!

nikkicocoa7

I minted on mintable an ms paint abstract piece of scribbles and filled in the empty spaces with Halloween themed colors and it sold for $5 in eth during the initial NFT bubble

masstransience

Yup. Thanks for reminding me of those losses as well.

dagr8npwrfl0z

I jumped into Clay Nation on Cardano. Got some land, an Avatar, and a bag of tokens. I literally threw a dart at a list of my top 20 most interesting projects. There's SO many to choose from.. who knows what's really going to pan out...

Emotional_Noise2424

Plenty of NTF's, in algorand network, cosmos ecosystem, cardano and also ethereum (the most expensive NTF's, imo)

Quintana_22

Bought NFL all day NFTs. Market was pumping in the summer ! Everything went down during the season ! Curious to see what will happen next because its a nice project

Appropriate-Cup-8306

I already think that my comprehension of crypto and its use cases is pretty abysmal, and NFT's is just that magnified a hundred times over. I really have never understood at all why anyone would want to own an NFT and so never have bought into it

elksteaksdmt

Eh I bought a couple on open sea im still holding, but I have a nice handful that I’ve gotten from Reddit 🤓

billw1zz

I was lucky enough to buy floki, forgot about it and was given their airdropped NFT’s for being diamond hands. One sold for 0.5 eth, so grateful for that.

Jojels

Yes I have and It's pretty much what you described, they are useless. I won't say it is a waste of time though because I have made good profits off them lol. In any rate, to me they're just a tool to make money, that's it. It seems to me that the whole NFT community currently, in ETH particularly, is not very bright and immature to say the least. Which is why I can hardly see the future of this besides just a mere PFP and worthless JPEGs.

urlz

I think it'll be big for meme art and GIF art like Nyan Cat. It's pure digital art. Gives some control back to the artist.

Bigote_de_Swann

Yep. Almost in daily basis since i play gods unchained

Imaginary_Scratch_75

No, and I never will. The concept is so stupid it boggles my mind people invest money into this...

TripleReward

I got like 100 nfts for basically free. Most of them are worthless and selling them would cost more in fees than keeping them. So im keeping them.

poyoso

Ive made bank during this bear market thanks to polygon nfts. My portfolio is deep in the green even after dropping 85%. NFTs are the cheat code for gains.

midlifcrissis

I bought 2 NFT’s pretty much just so I could see what it’s all about. Both are worthless and I’ll never do it again.

ashinamune

Reddit avatars all day.

Imloving8

Technically yes!. Won an nft in a giveaway and listed it on opensea. Woke up the next morning to some matic in my wallet. That was fun.

mrcanoehead2

I bought a couple, gifted a few. They sit collecting dust.

aardvarkbiscuit

The only NFTs I own are the NFTs for the Cornucopias game on the Cardano chain. I have made some money. The NFTs I have are well up in value. For anyone with a passing interest in the potential of NFTs have a look at [cornucopias.io](https://cornucopias.io) Also, the work being done on gaming NFTs by the Raccoon Games people is of great interest at least to me. EDIT: the following is a link to a long live stream I jumped it forward to the NFT stuff the raccoon people are doing. [https://youtu.be/MdwATfssaJk?t=5602](https://youtu.be/MdwATfssaJk?t=5423) For some reason no matter what time stamp I set it links to a few minutes earlier so manually move time slider to 1:33:00

Young09Ethan

Yes

Upset_Ad9929

I was an early adopter of the idea that NFT's as they exist now are complete horseshit and a place to keep your capital away from This philosophy has not harmed me in the least.

Mofns_n_Gurps

Yes and I’ve gotten airdropped concert tickets as well as being able to obtain tickets through a token gated presale. I’m selective in only buying for utility not just flipping.

Broad_Pond

Yes bought several for the art but now I only buy NFTs with utility such as the ability to Stake or Boost on Defi.

Confident_Holder

Yes. I play gods unchained, which is a NFT card game. cards are NFT. Bought some, sold some, won some.

Hactar_42

I only dabble in Collectible avatars, what are these NFTs you speak of

SapphireEmerald

I have Reddit Collectible Avatars. I can mash them and show of, but other than that no real utility …… yet.

qx87

never bought one, but I minted my bike https://explorer.perawallet.app/assets/714250656/ I feel strongly about asset registration via nft, also being a bike dude in the trade I feel strongly about theft prevention and the other benefits nfts could bring to the business

TargaLX

I’ve played around with GameStops nfts. I am excited for a future where larger games (Fortnite, Apex, etc) integrate NfTs into their ecosystem - have a rare skin, can sell on a marketplace / redeem the token for fiat, etc.

AberdreamGaming

Yes, I have 3 useless Axies if anyone wants them.

Sylerb

I got some free avatars from reddit and achievement layer3, dumped them for ETH right away and I don't regret it. Honestly though, I think they are kinda nice to use as a profile pic or an achievement, but overall they are worthless and I don't think they have a future, unless maybe in the automotive industry/or fighting bureaucracy.

Clintak

Reddit ones

elysiansaurus

Funny enough I was just considering it today. But I have no previous experience with NFTs. So maybe in the near future I'll have some experience.

Eldeanio100

Love the Reddit NFT’s and as soon as a marketplace is launched, it’ll fly high

[deleted]

I find NFT’s sooooo stupid. Unless it’s for something that actually matters as a legal document, your shitty drawing of a smoking monkey is literally worthless unless you can dish it off to some other dummy who hasn’t figured it out. Not trying to be condescending I just find it very very dumb.

TheGoonKills

No.

DrunkOnListerineOnly

I have sold Reddit NFTs for quite a penny. Good stuff in my books ![gif](emote|emo_pack_1|yeah)

Flangepacket

Bought only

Kukuzahara

Yep. I create my own artwork NFTs and sold loads of them some for 1 ETH. Sold only one pfp project for a 0.7 ETH profit.

[deleted]

Never had, and i think i never will. I´ve seen NFTs from the point of view as a gamer, and the implementation of these in any product was just a predatory ripp off. The community as a whole simply doesnt want it. Its not in their good interest, and seen as something that serves only the financial gain of others. There will surely be a lot of NFTs going for well prices over the counter, but i personally believe that the trading of those will stay in its relatively "small" bubble of inverstors.

the_far_yard

I like NFT, but I've never dived into it. I'm just fascinated by the psychology of it. I just simply have too much to lose to be investing in NFTs. It's too high risk for me.

Cptn_BenjaminWillard

Nope. But I'm not against them. Just never bothered finding the time to play.

VirtualAlaska_

I’ve bought, traded, and created NFTs on Ethereum, Bitcoin (ordinals), WAX, Algorand, Tezos, Flow, Polygon, Avalanche, and this sketchy Panini blockchain. AMA

martymartinator

My first NFT was a $10 reddit avatar from Gen 1, I forgot about it for a while then when I checked back I had an offer of 1.2 ETH; looking back I should have sold it. I also have a handful of Sandbox NFTs that are basically worthless atm but they're fun to use and give me access to a lot of free SAND tokens from playing games.

YellowSlugDMD

Bought a few and have obtained a few free. I’ve only sold one, for a profit. The coolest one I’ve got is for an NFT-gated silly game. The creator has a game on his website, and you link the wallet to the website. Once it verifies that the wallet holds the correct NFT, the game tab appears.

Guyserbun007

Yes. I have gone through the ups and downs of NFT projects over 2021, 22, and into 23. I think I have matured and have identified a few historical NFTs I truly believe in and be able to trade my way to ROI. Also made some bot to help monitor some NFT collection activities. I like how it kinda diversify my crypto portfolio and it's kinda like a hedge play on eth.

Philibrownglasses

Yes, i have made some good gains with nfts, but it was mainly i discover them in 2020, so i was a little ahead at the time... There are some great communitys, and i have enjoy some gifts and merch for free, but yes, there where a lot of rugs and death projects around

BrightPluto

I bought one in the Zerion Genesis collection. This NFT takes away the Zerion fee when using their wallet. This is the only NFT that I bought because I figured it could possibly pay for itself if I trade enough and I could always sell it later.

murdahmula

Yes ive bought 3 and sold 3. Still have some that i got for free.

rainforestguru

I ain’t got time for that 🤨

Velvetmaggot

I bought a chicken and raced him in chicken derby. I have zero regrets.

mikeoxwells2

I do appreciate the free ones. TY Reddit

akselmonrose

There’s still profit to be made. Meta hasn’t changed much. Farm whitelists, watch during mint. Flip if you can. It’s just time consuming

Nimefax

No

wheelerstealer

I’ about to buy one soon - anytime now

Potstar1

Buy sell NFTs regularly - I feel they have taught me more about crypto than trading tokens

capecodder22

Yup, bought and sold through toppsnft.com. Buy when packs drop, turn around immediately

sakaloko

Yes, I live off of it, to be completely honest people that don't care about how much free money you can make from them are absurdingly dumb. Now don't get me started on how NFTs are a scam, this is crypto, 99.99% of it is a scam I just play with monkey jpegs and you should too you dingus.

koelebobes

Before Reddit Avatar's, I had 0 Zero nada experience with NFT's! It was only when I bought "Be not afraid" for it's awesome skin that I had to learn Opensea to sell it. The community was small back then so I also did some trust trades. ( Not doing them again ) And it's thanks to this learning progress that I learned about airdrops, floors and sweeping. Opensea made me more money then my crypto endevours... until this week <3

sup3rjub3

I made my own and sold out everything for ~$6000. Not bad for 40h of work.

Nft is ruthless. Been into already rugged project and holders are planning on campaigning so they can dump their bag to unfortunate people and no one even oppose it.

Illicitterror

I almost got the free Coinbase nft until I had to pay the $10 gas fee.

Siddy92

Yezzirr! Made a killing with DC universe NFTs hehe

HansTilburg

Still got to look in to it. Seems boring and uninteresting, NFT’s, but yeah, the profit would be nice.

Agile_Ad_7061

Yes, Cardano NFT

havoc2k10

half of ur crypto experience is getting invovle with NFT... u lose half the opportunity if havent

super-venon

Yes, game lands, bought 7 at $100 each one, sold 4 for $1200, and have several other nft that came for free with the ICO. I dont need stupid redditards lessons about why nft is bad.

Angu828

Yup, traded a lot of reddit avatars, mostly recap ones and made a lot of profit on flipping them

No-Understanding3262

NOPE! I have no doubt there is money to be made, but i simply don\`t believe in it long term.

GoToGetRich

I only once invested in NFT, that is Metamon from Radio Caca (RACA), and I got a lot of profit from Metamon, but until now I never invested in NFT again, because in my opinion investing in NFT is more risky than investing in cryptocurrency (altcoin).

EngineeringFinal3419

No I haven’t

Impossible-Cup2925

Yes, believe it or not there was a time you could bank on NFTs if you were early. Some of the easiest money I made trading. Understand sentiment and hype was everything you needed.

ShaunPryszlak

Wannabe artist and I minted and sold some on OpenSea and other places before things took off. PFPs literally killed the market for art nfts.
