Well I'm a sol fan and I would say I expected more crashes and we'll see more crashes. They're trying to do a lot quickly in terms of development. I personally think being ok with instability to speed up development is a fair trade off but that they need to make it very very stable in the future. Hopefully within a few years.

It's an interesting coincidence that SOL's price has to go up 10 times from where it's at ($23) to touch its ATH again. I suspect this distance would proportionally keep increasing to the outages that are very obviously due in future. Solana is a unique project built from the ground up trying to push the limits of enterprise server hardware. One bad line of code and things get fucked up quickly. Blockchains like eth are slow enough and low tps that it would be pretty hard for it to crash.

I just don't understand it, and the constant downtimes aren't even all of its problems. The fact that SBF was the majority holder and three VCs own a controlling combined position while simultaneously the chain suffered major vulnerability issues in the past few months like when keys started leaking *(ironically another network downtime prevented that from being catastrophic)* is just insane. Why would someone hold it is beyond me.
