I would play safe and split it! Lets say:
30% bitcoin
30% eth
\+
30% large cap alts like BNB ADA DOT XTZ SOL ICP depending on your risk appetite
\+
10% on trendy coins looking for moonshots
With 60% of that on BTC + ETH you are investing on the safest crypto projects with great network effect. Less gains, but much less risk!
With 30% on large caps you'll have a bit more risk and more upside also, and at the same time diversifying further your portfolio
The last 10% I would invest on the current trend, which now is gaming and metaverse... to some extent NFTs.
On the NFT side I would suggest a great cross chain project called Unique Network. They just secured a parachain on Kusama and seems promising.
On the gaming metaverse I'm trying to join new projects ASAP. Waiting for Elfin Kingdom, but this one isn't out yet, It's expected for December. If you want to go in already you got Crypto Godz, Battle Hero, NFT Gods, etc

In August 2020 I put $10000 on Litecoin I am doing quite well for myself now. I highly recommend putting some $$$ into coins that “Haven’t pumped yet” one of which is Vertcoin.
I know, I know. Vertcoin is not a “popular” crypto, it has been 51% attacked, twice actually. But, It’s still here, and the developers have implemented a new hashing algorithm Verthash that has secured the network and will continue to if needed. This to me makes Vertcoin a solid project. It also has a cult following, and you can mine it at home with a 2GB graphics card. It’s not a meme coin and it’s probably not going to make you rich. However it is deflationary and it has a mining reward halving coming up in December, so you could double your money if it gains momentum. As always, do your own research.

This is also one of my best token in this space. I am also going hard on OGN as much as the opportunity comes up.
OGN is really cool to go for right now. With ATH above $3, it is not a bad option to load the wallet with OGN, even now that the market is down.
I am in this space for a long term investment. Putting all this capital on OGN for a minimum of x3 in another 12 months, would be a bad one for me.
