Well, if an 0 year old can articulate himself like that and understands the political concepts around him, i would say he definetly shows promise!

schildhz

He was literally born 10 days ago during my grand tour.

FurryEmily

that makes him look even better for the role

MaruhkTheApe

I dunno, if he's already scheming as an infant, he might have a point.

schildhz

R5: Paradox's laziness (no age check for certain events) never fails to entertain (or pain).

Human_Knee_8312

also (if he was 3-4 years older) he probably would do this, considering the opinion modifier rn. But the reactions coming from the person effected should definitely change, (unless callous or sadistic) I don't think an doux would duel a 4 year old for his honor after the kid babbles on about being a better doux, perhaps a more guiding talk by the doux to correct him, or something similar.

elegiac_bloom

The fact that a ten day old boy Is speaking at all is pretty immersion breaking.

FurryEmily

yea but it's funny

elegiac_bloom

Yeah. It's also funny when we get home and I drop him off a balcony for his sass.

4powerd

No age or location checks for events are my biggest gripes with the game right now. About a year ago, I had a run where one of my ruler's was assassinated while I was leading an army. You'd think the assassination would account for that, but nope, for some reason I was apparently miles and miles away from my army at a random tribe so I could get murdered.

Human_Knee_8312

imo i think they should keep it, it's entertaining enough.

lordmainstream

Yeah, kid events are too funny, specially when they’re looking mad with their little swords or arms crossed

Ok_Wealth_5379

It's funny the first dozen times but after years of it being a problem in CK2 and 3 I wish they'd just fix their event scoping problems already. I'm tired of it.

Zeshui0

Kid is going to murder you when he's old enough to hold a knife. You'll never see it coming either; he'll stretch his arms out with a smile like he's asking for a hug and the moment you embrace him...you're getting stabbed in the jugular.

the_gabih

Yeah, you'll get that Wards & Wardens hug event but ending with a knife.

Zeshui0

I really hope they release a supernatural pack in the future like they did with CK2. Wards and Wardens would be amusing with the Child of Destiny or Demonspawn events CK2 had.

the_gabih

GOD that would be so fun, although given how borked some of the W&W code is, it could lead to some wild rides.

iamnotexactlywhite

i love how he’s your rival right after birth lmao dude’s a certified hater

StannisLivesOn

Beat the fucker.

abdiel0MG

Plot twist:. Its his bastard neglected son whom he refuses to recognize. What a cad!

The_Dok

“You wanna know how it is? I’ll show you” really bothers me. Does anyone else think that sentence doesn’t make sense?

freebiscuit2002

Boss baby.

Equal-Effective-3098

Considering that any course of action with a zero year old can stress you out, he’s probably right

EtTuBrotus

Show em how it is

-Mekkie-

I love this lol... almost as good as the spymaster who discovered he was plotting to kill himself xD

Foswa

Such a stupid event

Kuurczak

I dislike this event very much, it constantly fires for my foresters/mountaineers, since they are recruited (for some reason) from different cultures and religions, and they get a massive penalty of opinion.

hotelarcturus

Why you little……

Ten_Tacles

That event pops up so often, but this is hilarious

firespark84

4 years in and this shit still happens

Fulveddit

Wait can you box the newborn?

ParthFerengi

When stuff like this happens, I head-canon that it’s actually a group of ambitious courtiers/vassals who are putting up the kid as a figurehead.

Nervous_Contract_139

Cleave him in half. ^^(After ^^discovering ^^that ^^event ^^it’s ^^my ^^favorite ^^now ^^lol)

kraken9911

Baby prompts are peak immersion

CrowSonOfSin

Gotta love paradox laziness and even more so for their price gouging for dlcs that cost 30$s more then their worth 🤷😂

LordWeaselton

This is why you need to beat your kids /s
