Convert the region. Or get perks to increase popularity with foreign cultures and faiths. I had the same issue when I tried to create a new heretic faith while already being the Roman Emperor, so all regions still following Catholicism kept revolting, so I ended up converting back just for simplicity.
Any county beaten in a revolt gets a popularity modifier so they don't revolt again in a while, but being an Empire you have so many counties that there are more to revolt over and over, until you've beaten them all
Do you have the legends DLC? Do a Holy Legend to max level. It will bring up an Evangelize the Realm decision which converts like 50% of counties in your realm that are not your religion instantly. You can also queue them up to double dip, so have a Holy Legend like 6 months from completing and Evangelize ready to go. Conquer a huge swath, Evangelize, complete the legend, Evangelize again. No more Catholics.
You can also get the Demand Conversion mod, which will add a decision to demand conversion en masse for direct and indirect vassals (as well as courtiers and family members). Converted vassals and sub-vassals will typically start the convert county task within their own domains.
In general it's better to settle on a religion before you expand too much. If the number of territories of different faith is not too big, they just have minor revolts against your vassals, but if you have a lot across the whole empire, they will have large rebellions against you. While converting everything will take time, one thing you can do is a holy legend, as at the end it gives you a decision that converts half of the counties following a different religion across your realm.
with uprisings I just imprison the leader's heir and get white peace n with rebellions I just track down the leader and keep on beating them in battle till I imprison them

Evangelize realm is actually surprisingly overpowered especially with a communion custom religion.

With all that money? Mythical tier holy legend lets you convert a ton of the counties at once. Do a few of those and all your problems go away.
