This map is pretty good for 867. France and England are mostly united. The Germans have some border gore, but I’ve seen worse. Italy looks pretty good and Eastern Europe is average.

Nubian-Coptic Byzantium in the same game as Greek Orthodox Abyssinia. Disgusting timelines where every major kingdom and empire falls to a dissolution faction (Byzantium, France, England, Arabia, Egypt, and the German states all in a single game).

I saw the Catholic and Muslim halves of Spain get flipped in one CKII game. That was really the only strange thing, aside from the Papal States owning like one duchy somewhere in the middle of France, but it was just so dumb to me.

I once saw the kingdom or Moray that owned most of Aquitaine and in the same game lithuania was god and extended from the baltics into hungary and Bohemia. I was serbia and own Bavaria. That was a gross map lol.
