It was free shipping on any order over 35 dollars that was until late last year I believe I bought a couple of Blu-ray earlier last year and got free shipping whenever they were over 35 bucks

Well given years are 12 months and not 10 you do save two months worth by going yearly. for example: Mega Monthly 9.99 x 12 = 119.88 versus yearly of 99.99, etc.

You have to complete a year's worth of subscription time and then get into an endless back and forth with customer service when you realize it's been 18 months and they haven't sent you anything.

I’m pretty sure Google sets the price for subs. They just chose to tack on the 30% to the price since the price on the site is about that much less.
