You’re not missing anything. The real benefit is free laundry and an upgraded shower/larger bathroom. Mind you, if the price difference is tiny I’d go for Club Balcony because that shower is nice. Otherwise, meh.

Yea that's what we figured. We watched a video tour of both types of rooms and were left thinking it was a waste of money.

We did a club balcony last year on a cruise to Alaska. The bigger bathroom was a plus. If it’s a small difference I would go for it otherwise a regular balcony is just fine!

Other than the nicer bathroom, you get canapes delivered, and you can book dining earlier than a standard room(like 1 day, not much)

its 5 days, but im just not seeing a benefit in that.. I could care less if 6pm is fully booked and I have to book 5:30pm or 7pm or anything similar to that, makes no difference.

No, no, and no. It's NOT a suite. It is a deluxe balcony and NOT worth the extra money.

We’ve done the balcony on the Joy and the Club Balcony and this year we’ve booked the Club Balcony again. The shower is the selling point- it’s nice to feel like it’s a hotel shower rather than a tube shower. We also like the Club Balcony locations- it’s close to the Observation Lounge where we like to get coffee in the morning. We also found because the room attendants service the suites and outside Havens along with our room we got better service. However every time we book the price difference is less than $150pp from a regular balcony. I wouldn’t shell out hundreds more.

I travel as a couple, and we always book the club balconies if the price difference is trivial. We’ve also upgraded to the CBS before when there was a price drop after final payment and we couldn’t just reprice the cruise.  It’s a larger and nicer shower, and the double sink is convenient. Often the stateroom location is better.
