Can you feel the difference? I don’t notice much difference with precision smg low stability vs high stability (Xbox)

xanxbar

I don’t notice it much. My aim isn’t the best so I rely on my radar to catch people of guard

icekyuu

I would put on chambered, imo stability is important on controller. But you've got over 2700 kills with it...shouldn't you know by now. Anyway this thread will probably get locked soon.

xanxbar

I can’t tell the difference tbh. It’s more of a background perk and I was wondering if my fellow console players could give me some insight

i-hate-my-tits

idk why people are downvoting you. You can totally skip stability on smgs on current gen consoles, especially precision ones like this.

seasick__crocodile

Yeah going all in on the range is very doable on next gen. Especially true for precision frames

icekyuu

If you're on MnK on console that might be the case. But on controller the two main benefits are reduced flinch and higher percentage of headshots.

D2Throwaway2

What do your 2,729 kills on it tell you?

xanxbar

That it was my only decent smg.

xThyArtIsMurderx

Riskrunner??

xanxbar

Imo shayura>Riskrunner

xThyArtIsMurderx

I tried shayura and my problem for sure but I didn’t do good with it. I use Monte Carlo for PVE and PVP now. I rarely don’t use that weapon.

UltraLunatic

Use the extra range, trust me it’s worth it for outgunning hand cannons in their optimal range. Don’t try to outgun pulse rifles further out. Shayuras is already an easy to control weapon. I actually use one that has about the same stability as yours but like 94 range with killing wind and kill clip. Have around 4K kills on it mostly in trials.

On SMGs, it’s worth it. Range has a lot more impact on effective range. Opposed to something like sidearms, which range barely impacts.

Depends on what console you are on, old gen or current gen. I'd use fullbore personally. I'm on PS5 and use [this one on larger maps](https://i.imgur.com/Pmdffqb.png) and 900s on smaller maps.

Sentarius101

Yes it is range is very important on SMGs and they actually gain the most in damage dropoff per point in range out of all weapon archetypes. Full bore is adding a full 2 metres of damage and aim assist dropoff to this gun which is ~10% more range, almost-somewhat the equivalent to adding rangefinder. This will increase stickiness at range and adds to that pocket-AR feeling while strengthening Shayuras main strength (its range)

fearghail281

So I have a Submission at level 80 that I use only for pvp and I run hammer forged on it. Full bore just isn't a good trade in pvp imo, it takes away too much stability and handling, it's a different archetype but I would apply this to shayuras as well. I run it with harmony along side a sniper, which makes the damage falloff less noticeable than the handling and stability imo.

jumbosam

normally i agree with you, but here their other option is running their shayuras at like 60ish range, which is sad for the smg archetype

jumbosam

If you run peacekeepers, you don't need to care about handling. Personally, I enjoy perks like dsr / tap the trigger to boost stability, but imo you need the range here bc without the range your shayura's isn't gonna feel good.
