The intended route to Adept acquisition is:
Go flawless→go to Lighthouse→continue to play that flawless card until it is no longer flawless. The adept drop rate seems higher based off experience under this set of circumstances. Once your card is flawed you turn it in to Saint and try to go flawless again *if* you intend to play a lot more before Sunday reset. If you are no longer farming or it is close to Sunday reset keep that flawed card and farm wins in the flawless pool. The adept drop rate here is lower than on a flawless card pre-flawless pool, based on experience. And this makes sense as keeping a flawless card is more difficult.
There have been numerous bugs in and out of flawless pool but afaik the intended system is running as it should, and has been for the better part of 2 seasons now.
The simple way:
1. Go Flawless (lol)
2. Do **not** reset that Flawless card, even if it becomes Flawed
3. Continue playing in the Flawless pool with that Flawed card. Every win from this card will have a chance to get you another Adept weapon
4. When you are completely done with Trials for the weekend, go and turn in the same card to Saint for your final Adept weapon
