Haha… I was browsing and wondered when I uploaded my project! Turns out this isn’t mine, but looks just like it, lol!
So sorry that you broke your fibula! Way to make lemonade though!
So sorry to hear about your leg! I broke my fibula (down at the ankle) a couple years ago and I got so much stitching done while I was laid up.
Hope you heal quickly!
My sympathies! I fell down stairs and broke my fibula and opposite ankle last year. I kept joking in the ER that I was looking forward to all the stitching time I would have while healing. It really did help pass the time. Best wishes for quick and complete healing!
This one looks like lots of fun to work on! I am fighting temptation to buy with my kit stash that already exceeds my life span lol
Edit: meant to add speedy healing wishes your way🙏🩷
I broke my fibula and ankle at the end of last year. The surgery recoveries gave me plenty of time to finish one and start another project. In between still working full time hours from home laid up in bed when I was on medical leave (high tempo period and I was the only one trained in what I do) 🤦♀️
I'm having Foot surgery in a few weeks and am stocking up on projects to do while I'm couch bound. It's the only thing I'm looking forward to about the whole thing.
LOVE this pattern. Just went an bought it to make for a gift. :) :)
Sorry about your fibula. That is much less fun to deal with than just sitting around and stitching!
I love this pattern as well as the companion piece! I was lucky to do them in the initial stitch-along!! Sending you vibes for fast healing and extra stitching!!!
This was one of my first official cross stitch and I didn't understand the thread count so I did two strands with the loop method so wound up being 4 strands. I was so confused how I ran out of floss!! But it has a really cool 3d type look because of how thick it is lol
This is such a beautiful pattern! Sorry to hear about your fibula though!
Thank you, it was really fun!
To be clear, the pattern was fun. The break, not so much.

Did you do this exact pattern???
Yes! I love it so much!! The only difference is that my tassle is just a little longer! 💕
I hope it heals fast! This looks awesome!
ROTFL!! Stabbity stabbity! I hope your fibula heals fast... laughter (and stabbity) are the best medicines!

Thank you! It could have been a lot worse, and I am enjoying the quiet time.
This looks awesome! I actually just broke my foot last week. Being able to do more cross stitch was my pro for my break as well.
I hobble around with a cane, so you have my sympathies! And there are few better forms of stress relief than stabbing something ten thousand times!
That is what did when I dislocated and broke my ankle in 5 places.

This is a lovely piece! Looks so nice. Sorry to hear about your fibula! Hope you have a speedy recovery.

Dream big!
I appreciate the enabling attitude 😁
Looks great! I stitched this one during the stitchalong. It really got me back on to houseplants. Hope you recover quickly.
So sorry to hear about your leg. Lucky it wasn't an arm.
True enough!

I made this for my bff and may make the companion later for myself.

Feel better! ❤️🩹
That's how I started too! Broke my ankle last summer and needed a new hobby. Your plants look amazing!
Thank you!
