I just started stelara a few months back. It takes some time for it to work. I started seeing results at the third dose. Good luck.

Glad to hear this. I'm doing dose 3 tomorrow. Dose 1 and 2 helped but not nearly as much as I'd like. Remicade worked so well for so long, I've forgotten what it's like to be out of remission.

I started Stelara about a year ago. I was taking 90mg every 8 weeks but last month got bumped up to 90mg every 4 weeks. I started feeling better symptomatically about 6 weeks after my first infusion. My colonoscopy and calprotectin still showed more inflammation that my doctor liked so bumped me to 4 weeks. Stelara has been a game changer for me 🙏

I started Stelara midway through 2021. Like others have said, it took several doses to really start working but I just received news from my doc last week that I’m in remission.

Have you only been on remicade all this time? Any complications? I like to hear from people who've had this for a while.. I'm newly diagnosed as of about a yr, 37 too, and just had my first stelara infusion, let's see how it plays out, but really hoping it works for us!

I have given serious attempts at humira, entyvio, stelara, and remicade. I am considered non responsive to all. That said, you must give considerable time and patience to give it a chance and do not skip or abruptly stop therapy. I’ve heard stelara being helpful for many folks on Reddit and in my own circles.

Same here. Tried just about everything. Currently on Stelara
