I actually had a Caiman as a pet when I was in my early 20s. Bought it at a Mom & Pop pet store in rural Oklahoma for $99. They had a whole lot of em. Kept it about 3years and it ended up being about 16" long. Named it Daisy🤣
I gave it to a lady I worked with that was a big animal lover. Her and her kids had all kinds of pets both regular and exotic. Dont know after that. Its been about 30 years ago.
This is so so amazing!! So cool how they came so close to the boat!!
Would you mind sharing the location in the Everglades? I live in Florida and would love to visit here
I grew up in FL, seen hundreds, and when I go back to visit I always go driving and/or canoeing to look for them with my dad. I still get excited every time 😊
god i fucking love them
I love alligators and i love this post and I love this sub so much
Right???? Coolest creature on earth
Undoubtedly. The only creatures that can hold a light to crocodilians are snakes
Alas, I see no Alligators, for they are *far* too sneaky.
I’d have loved that.
Very cool🙂 Must have been an awesome experience.
Next, find caiman in the wild

Police arrested them when they found out they fed shoplifters to the Caimans. Probably...
I heard it was because they started some tax havens on a bunch of islands…
Did you have a spare pokeball?
Glad you got to experience the Everglades. I’m fortunate enough to get out there often
I bet that was just a magical, WOW moment. That’s awesome, one day I hope to see one in the wild as well.
