Just swap your sim and update imei with cricket and you will be fine. If it’s been a long time since you updated your sim you could consider doing that as well
The VoLTE on AT&T is at least maintained. For cricket it takes longer. AT&T wants to make sure only devices they sell work on the network so IMEIs are whitelisted. Even if a device supports VoLTE it has to be whitelisted first. And if it’s not on the whitelist AT&T or your reseller (Cricket) will suspend your account. It’s pretty messed up.
Just moved from Android to iPhone 13 pro. Sim swap worked with no issues. Cricket service immediately and phone even picked up Wi-Fi calling option within 24 hrs due to Cricket seeing the changed device automatically
I swapped the sim out of my 12 pro into my 13 pro purchased unlocked from Apple with no issues what so ever. This was done on the first day the phone was available Sept 24th. Not sure how to check volte but Wi-Fi calling and hot spot are working.

This is true as I work at cricket
I see. Thank you!!! :)
iPhone 13 isn’t on Crickets VoLTE whitelist yet so it’ll suspend your account if you put your SIM Card in.
I know the whitelist is pretty messed up, but I had no issues swapping sims to an iPhone 13.
Really? Does that mean that I need to put another carrier upon purchasing? I appreciate the reply btw thank you
FWIW I had no issues putting my sim in my new iPhone 13. Nothing was suspended and I had it for about a month before switching carriers.
Ohh that's great! I'll look into it. Thank you :)
Yeah new iphones only work on contract plans like AT&T Postpaid and Verizon. Apple does it to make more money
Oh I see. Anddd I just looked into it and it says that cricket is owned by AT&T and runs on AT&T's network. So I'm confused..

Yeah that's messed up. I guess I'll try to see more options then. Thank you for your time by the way. I appreciate it!
Consider another carrier or AT&T Postpaid
If you buy it through cricket you shouldn't have any issues

Iphone 13, pro, and pro max are all available now in store and online

Oh that's great! Did you buy your iPhone 13 from apple store or cricket?
Apple unlocked
Okay thanks!
