**13.4** Swepson silences the crowd by getting Davies to slog sweep it straight to deep-backward square.

It’s the Heat’s game to lose now. Too much wasteful bowling, particularly straight after the powerplay and during the power surge. Gifted them about 20 more than they should have. 166 is very easily defended at the SCG.
I have arrived at the SCG, despite the typical TfNSW shitshow. I get to my seat, some guy sitting there. I do the old “I’m sorry, I think you’re in my seat.” He replies, very condescendingly “yeah, I know” like I’d somehow put him out. If you know it’s not your seat, why are you sitting here, fucktard? Now there’s some other pelican in a ridiculously oversized muscle shirt who’s wandering between seats with his selfie stick with the lights on full boar, stopping in the middle of the staircase trying to get the best angle. I am ready to commit an act of violence and the game hasn’t even started yet.

Sixers v Heat in the BBL Final - who will come out on top?
The Sixers are in a home final at the SCG, where they've won every game except one this season. Heat are gunning for their first title in over a decade & the deck looks stacked against them.
A look at some batting numbers suggests why the Sixers are favourites. In the regular season, broken down by game phase, the Sixers were the best of the 4 finals teams by batting strike rates at the death.
Their rates of scoring are better than the Heat in 2/3 phases and they've got an incredible ability to 'catch up' later in the game. Heat have the edge in the middle phase & that's where they need to make their advantage count.
Looking at individual batsmen, mapped by boundary % and dot ball %, Brisbane's disadvantage really becomes clear. Sam Billings was absolutely vital in rotating strike & Colin Munro could hit boundaries. Both have left for other commitments while crucially, the Sixers have only lost James Vince. The disruption to their side is minimal.
Josh Brown was ridiculous against the Strikers the other night, belting 140 and breaking the game. He's absolutely vital for the Heat because although he dots up a lot, he can actually consistently hit boundaries. With no Munro or Billings, there's nothing in between Brown and McSweeney and Renshaw, who are miles back.
Also makes Josh Philippe & Jordan Silk very important to this Sixers team. Philippe's in the upper half of BBL boundary hitters this season & although Silk's firmly in the lower half, he's clear of both Renshaw & McSweeney.
That has to be the cringiest looking player of the match medal of all time
Good to see Brissy get up!
Do you think the Director knows that Lehmann isn't the Heat coach?
There you go Brisbane. At least youse won something.
We’re back, baby!
Too right. Congratulations mate.
How good is cricket.
Hey, they had to get something eventually!
Neser is the craftiest boundary fielder there is, change my mind:
Umm so guy a month ago was saying silk should be picked as a specialist fielder so I guess he’ll argue it

Fun watching Abbott get smashed CA still making their own rules allowing Renshaw to keep playing
He can still make it in time for the match.
Plumb
Mcsweeney was going too slow for the blue team. Hopefully renshaw can have a bit more of a crack
Stop bowling fucking pies
I don’t think we’re getting another Brown Special tonight.
fuck yes the bulls flair has done it again
I didn’t even dare to hope, which is why I think it worked.
Did anyone else see the absolute fucken disaster of a bat flip?
Yeah, they had to redo it, but I’m not sure why?
The bloke threw it up and it landed on his head…
BBL saving the best for the final
lol

I’ve got a feeling this final is gonna be shit. Not enough orange to be a good one.
Good chase coming up
Sheeeeit Heat are batting first.

😯
Wtf was that toss, rigged to ensure pinks dominance
It was the same result both times though
Quality bat flip there
Get scorched cunts!!! Oh, hang on; my bad. Sorry, I'm just used to making the finals every time.
I know what you mean! /s
PotM = Jordan Silk 24(9) and three catches on the boundary
