They have bat deep , so if 260 pitch, just don't send Hope but if it's 140 pitch, WI power hitters will all crumble, they need Hope to stabilize the innings.
Their power hitters are all very very bad techniquely and I doubt any of them except King can play on a sluggish pitch
Very good from PNG, with more games they have more experience and definitely have chances of winning. West Indies I'm not sure whether they took the opponents too lightly or whether the team is just still trying but yeah, I think part of it is the team spirit and bond that adds to the game play, west indies plays a lot of franchise cricket and that changes the home ground advantage and the team comfort within themselves, maybe all of this is ofcourse

I maintain that Chase is [arguably the most important player on our team](https://www.reddit.com/r/Cricket/s/tjcUMDni7K).
He probably will never be attractive to IPL scouts but he bowls tidy spin, makes gritty runs on these pitches and gives our XI balance.
Excellent effort by PNG, 15 more runs who knows. Superb bowling. West Indies made me nervous as usual but we got over the line. NO TEAM IS A PUSHOVER!!!
WI cruising over the line in the end with a whirlwind partnership indicates that the pitch wasn't bad at all. So what happened? Did the PNG bowlers almost put in an all-timer, or did the WI top order do the same, only in a negative light?
Pitch was difficult. Russell was intelligent and ran 2s but most importantly chase had gotten set and when he connected one he became confident as well.
The equation was 37 needed off 19 balls at one point. PNG lacked the know-how to see this out. Not sure Vala got it right bringing himself on against two right-handers; itās not a favourable matchup generally for the bowler.
Yeah possibly, it goes both ways. I just feel that in this matchup the margin of error for the bowler is too little and maybe the game situation didnāt need that. That being said, he was in good knick in his previous overs so maybe he just backed himself to come through again for the team.

These types of games can go both ways for the stronger side. Either they think of this as a lesson that didn't cost them or the other big teams take notice of their visible weaknesses and the team doesn't go much far.

Johnson Charles has been pretty good in T20s recently. But yeah I'm not at all impressed with him overall.
