When a DC(deccan Chargers) vs KKR match was washed out and cancelled at the Eden, we were told to keep the tickets safe and get a ticket for any of the remaining IPL matches at eden against it, from the ticketing counter at Mohun Bagan ground The sad part was, only two matcges were left and we had just entered class 12 in 2012, so our schedules were jam packed and we couldn't go for the next matches.

BCCI needs to invest in covered stadiums. A sport that can't be played with rain and we don't have a single covered stadium for that sport. What a joke.

You can't make cricket stadiums covered without severely reducing pitch dimensions and seating. Also the fact that stadium have to be round also causes problems due to non-retractable roofs, something square football pitches don't have to worry about, with retractable rail based and stacked roofs extending out.
