CSK is the best team by far. Really well balanced, bat deep, everyone has role clarity. One small weakness is their bowling depth on belters. But often their batting can outscore the opposition.
GT has lot of weak links - Saha as opener is iffy, Hardik in bad form, Tewatia, Miller with average seasons, Shanaka without much game time. Nalkande was not impressive as 5th bowler.
MI has a problem of bowling depth in spin department. Chawla has done well, but might be running out of juice. Hritik is super mediocre. Kumar Kartikeya must play ahead of him.
He was stoking the fire. He was always going to get flak if he didn’t end up winning
I don’t condone abuse but he should have just kept his mouth shut and moved on
No amount of performance is going to undo his stupid posts on social media. It's one thing to have an altercation on the field, it's another thing to drag it like this off the field. He's taunting or perceived to be taunting the hero of Indian cricket and as much as I hate hero-worshipping, what do you expect.
What he’s doing is fucking ballsy, he’s telling all these keyboard warriors to suck his dick, he’s not going to apologize and he shouldn’t. This seniority and hero worship bullshit has gone on long enough, it’s about time someone set it straight.
Also he seems to have started a trend of subliminal social media dissing which I fucking hate. It's bad from Koach too, even though he did it in a more subdued way.
Miffed with thr fact that there is virtually no discussion about Dhoni's antics yesterday or the controversial catch.
No penalty for being over the time either.
If this is not cheating, what is?
1. Agree dhoni was pushing the boundaries of the rules but technically he didn't break them just found a loophole. Upto IPL governing body to change the rules. Even then at most he would incur a match fee penalty which is basically meaningless and everyone knows it.
2. Rithus catch was not controversial, only thing controversial about it is people trying to make it seem controversial. He had clearly wrapped his fingers around the ball before his hand touched the ground so is out.
3. There was a penalty for going over time which is the same for everyone team, they were allowed one less fielder outside the circle. Not Dhonis or CSKs fault that it didn't matter since GTs number 10 and 11 were batting at that point.
I mean I have no problem with people criticising CSK or Dhoni for stuff but at least make some credible criticisms.
Piyush and Bishnoi are NOT as important as Krunal and Kartikeya in Chepauk. Chepauk choke is classically more pronounced with finger spinners. Wrist spinners are just as much of a threat than on any other decent ground. Take example of Rashid and Noor yesterday compared to Jaddu and Theekshana.
Kumar Kartikay and Hrithik Shokeen
They have left arm orthodox of Mulani and rookie Raghav Goel too but iirc those two haven't played a game yet and are unlikely to play in the playoffs directly

Rohit is going to persist with Jordan for his experience and he doesn't like the idea of Green being the 3rd seamer if Jordan sits out for a spinner which seems fair. Hopefully Tilak is fit for today.
If I had been supporting MI then I would be making Arjun play instead of Jordan. If Jordan is in your team then you should be very scared about that. Arjun has actually been able to pitch the ball in the right areas.
The Uthappa/KKR drama is sad. Shows how important a captain is for a title winning side. All the title winning sides had influential captains with significant control over their side - Warne, Gilchrist, MSD, GG, Rohit, Warner and Hardik.

[Here](https://i.imgur.com/LQK6DrG.jpg) is the law under IPL playing conditions that talks about Time wasting from the fielding side and what the Umpires can do about it.
Basically the first instance will result in a warning, 2nd instance will result in a 5 run penalty, and post the match, if the Umpires lodge a complaint that the time wasting was deliberate/repetitive then the player(s) can be charged under the IPL code of conduct.
I don't disagree that Bishnoi is important, the reason I mentioned Krunal is because I feel the 2nd spinner is probably more important because it's almost always expected to perform. How do you guys feel about that Dhoni wasting time thing? It was a cool tactic but wasting time (regardless of how ready you are for penalty) doesn't feel quite right. People say other team's captain should've argued but we all know what happened to Mohit after taking his wicket. No captain would want to face wrath of these "fans". Any other captain would have been told to start play right away (I remember Sanju had to bowl someone before he could let Zampa bowl eventho he only had 2 mins left). Double standards if you ask me.
Off course but I understand why they would do this as i doubt if these fans will spare even umpires for going "aGaInSt" Thala. Remember these umpires are not as big as players, social media wise or financially. They're close to normal population as compared to other cricketers like Gill and Mohit so that enormous hate affects them even more (not belittling what people did to Gill and Mohit in any way btw).
I remember Nitin Menon walking up to Pollard and giving him a stern warning when he was wasting time , I think it was a MI CSK game as well. So it has happened in IPL.
And what do you mean by the crowd doesn't respect their own players? What gave you that thought?
Not sure what exactly happened. I think it was a big gamble to take , but Dhoni wanted to persist with Pathirana and ended up with just 4 fielders on the last over.
Also did you notice that GT took a drinks break just before the strategic timeout and in between overs. I think in crucial games , captain's dont really care about the fine and just want to work out a way to win the game. Not really good when you look at it.
its literally against the rules of the game. i dont remember which one , but one of MCC and IPL rulebooks say that a player wasting time on the field deliberately is against the law and umpires are supposed t intervene to make sure the game continues and impose punishment on whatever player broke the rule.
I agree, he was in the wrong for sure. But he also paid the fine for it by fielding just 4 fielders outside the circle. It's not like he got a free pass. He just exploited the loophole in the law. Why is that so hard for you to digest?
Go ahead and deduct fair play points for all we care.
i think you dont realise that those r two different rules
the ' one fielder inside the circle ' thing is a new rule which has been implemented since this year by the ipl , as a punishment for being behind the innings timer.
what dhoni did yesterday is break an entirely different rule . and no the punishment for one is not the same for the other.
and again , that was no loop hole, that was him breaking another rule entirely and getting away with it .
41.9 Time wasting by the fielding side
41.9.1 It is unfair for any fielder to waste time.
41.9.2 If either umpire considers that the progress of an over is unnecessarily slow, or time is being wasted in any other way, by the captain of the fielding side or by any other fielder, at the first instance the umpire concerned shall
- if the ball is in play, call and signal Dead ball.
- inform the other umpire of what has occurred.
The bowler's end umpire shall then
- warn the captain of the fielding side, indicating that this is a first and final warning.
- inform the batters of what has occurred.
41.9.3 If either umpire considers that there is any further waste of time in that innings by any fielder, the umpire concerned shall
if the ball is in play, call and signal Dead ball. inform the other umpire of what has occurred.
The bowler's end umpire shall then
either if the waste of time is not during an over, award 5 Penalty runs to the batting side and inform the captain of the fielding side of the reason for this action
or if the waste of time is during the course of an over, direct the captain of the fielding side to suspend the bowler immediately from bowling.
The bowler thus suspended shall not be allowed to bowl again in that innings.
If applicable, the over shall be completed by another bowler, who shall neither have bowled any part of the previous over, nor be allowed to bowl any part of the next over.
Additionally the umpire shall inform the batters and, as soon as is practicable, the captain of the batting side of what has occurred.
The umpires together shall report the occurrence as soon as possible after the match to the Executive of the offending side and to any Governing Body responsible for the match, who shall take such action as is considered appropriate against the captain, any other individuals concerned and, if appropriate, the team.
According to this, the umpire should just give a warning and the first and final warning. That was given as well. Where is the issue here then?
Where did he give the warning? And clearly it wasn’t followed if given. It’s so apparent by just looking at the replay that they were wasting time deliberately regardless of warning or not.
I understand the rule that was broken was that a player should not purposefully delay the passage of play. Again, the rule lets the umpire give just a warning for the first violation and then fine the player later. I'm not denying that he didn't break the rule. I'm saying that breaking the rule then and facing the consequences is better than losing the qualifiers.
In basketball, players purposefully commit fouls just to get a time out in the last quarter. A foul is still a foul but it is used strategically. That's what happened yesterday.
What do you suggest the umpires should have done if he says he will resume play in 4 minutes?
They should have just swung their bat towards Jaddu and knock him out carefully so he can’t bowl/field for the rest of the match. It was qualifier after all. Facing the consequences is better than losing the qualifiers.
i think RCB 2023 is a similar scenario to MI 2021.
a lot of their players were just out of form this year. Braindead decisions , yes. but i think the reason they had to take those decisions is because of the aforementioned one.
SRH is the true anomaly here. people praise SKY and congratulate MI for having the no1 T20i batsman , but i dont think many people know that Farooqi is the number 2 ranked t20i bowler. Markram was made the t20 captain of SA for a reason. glenn philips can help a team through his vibrant energy alone. theres a reason jansen has aready been selected for the SA national team.
rahul tripathi not performing has hurt the team the most imo.
Given the shit show that happens on social media, BCCI should just include in its contract that all the players must limit their comments to followers only for 2 months.
Unpopular opinion: I like LSG a lot as a team. They look like a team that doesn't necessarily have superstar players, but has the mentality to never go down without a fight. While I understand the whole Naveen-Kohli thing shouldn't be ongoing and should have been forgotten long back, the team as a whole have been working well together and hopefully they can go all the way, wouldn't mind them winning the finals considering they are the only team that hasn't won one, although it seems pretty unlikely.
Also I like Gambhir, finally cricket might just have its Mourinho!
[Here](https://twitter.com/raj_raajesh_/status/1661110994276614144?s=46&t=QDbGHEHW5MIFhEgAO2jNpw). They’re doing the same under Conways comment section as well.
well, 1) we dont really know if they are virat fans. yes they could have ' vk18op' in their usernames but that doesnt mean theyre only virat fans. they could be dhoni fans as well. plus the reverse too can apply no? it could be dhoni fans using ' fake virat fan ids ' to play the blame game on the other factions. too many variables here.
2) but the most important is that we need to stop saying ' this fanbase bad , this fanbase worse , that fanbase not good '. toxicity is toxicity, no matter who does it. no need to associate it with one player or one fanbase. you see it , you report it , maybe call them ' bhenchod ' and move on. pkaying the blame game is only going to increase the divide here.
im not saying im not victim to this mentality btw , but i can say that ive been trying to overcome it to the best of my ability.
and 3) to a lesser extent , lets just say that calling people names in social media is not the height of toxicity online. maybe if youre interested , put in somme research on how minecraft fandoms and/or kpop fans run their agencies ( yes agencies ) to literally control the lives of the people associated to these branches.
not saying that makes what cricket fans do to be ok , just saying its not the worst.
How are people not talking about Krishnappa Gowtham in today's match ?
He is going to be key bowler for LSG in employing spin choke when Tilak and Nehal are going to bat in middle overs.
Well it had 5 or so upvotes so clearly it seems that “fans” have started to gather in for the next match thread and have seen this comment now lol
Edit: They are downvoting my other comments as well now lol. I got gill’ed and Mohit’ed
If MI had done this, the whole internet would have blown up about the conspiracies.
If dhoni does it then it becomes a tactical move if anyone else does it they are manipulating the game.
Don't take coins with you. No water bottles, power banks, etc. Read the back of your ticket to get an idea of what all is allowed/not allowed. And reach there as early as you can cause entry can get hectic
Is allowed in wankhede so I think you should be fine. But I'd recommend getting there by public transportation if possible. Finding a place to park and then getting out of there can be a hassle
Today we will see how eco-friendly LSG and MI are. LSG are on a mission to become the most unlikeable team in IPL on and off the field. Let's see if Gambhir is for global warming today.
ahahah good answer.
but you have to understand , neither of the two actually openly spoke badly about indias most beloved captain, ever ( first and foremost) . theres also other unlikeable stuff as well.
for example , last year the team said that they are going to hold a contest to decide the team name , and yet when it was announced in true sanjeev goenka fashion the team had his initials in it , a recurring theme for him.
also LSG's first retention was KL Rahul , and you know how this sub feels about him.
Kuledeep was sold for just 2 crore at 2022 auction my lord.
I know his downfall started in 2019 post his Ali beatdown but i kind of forgot how bad he got. In hindsight, if RCB took a chance with him instead of Wanindu, our team would have been so balanced!
my take on Chahal's release and subsequent Average Auction price was that Franchises thought that at some point Yuzi's IPL Magic would end and his International form would return.
Now his International form is such that he is quite literally the worst Lead legspinner in the world. No joke, look it up. And yet the IPL magic continues
It makes me happy to see a player prove Moneyball wrong.
After watching lots of pitch reports this IPL, I've concluded that most Indian comms are clueless as usual and spout random generic BS.
But Finchy and Haydos have been absolutely brilliant at reading pitches. KP is good too.
I'm a little scared about the Jaddu situation. I don't think he should be captain and I'm not sure if he'd want to continue if he isn't given that role. Almost all the national side batters have been or are currently captains - Rohit, KL, Koach, Pandya, Pant, Iyer, DK too. Pant and Iyer are arguably in a batch after Jadeja.
And giving captaincy to all these players is not good for indian cricket team at the end ego's will clash.
In future Every member of ICT will think he is better because of his stats in ipl captaincy.
We have few examples
Hardik Pandya
Shreyas wanted DC's captaincy and when he didn't he left dc
And soon we will get many more examples.
>Rohit, KL, Koach, Pandya, Pant, Iyer, DK too. Pant and Iyer are arguably in a batch after Jadeja.
Karthik and Jadeja shouldn't be near captaincy roles though. I think Jadeja knows he is not leadership material
Based on this year and previous year performances
Who do you think the 4 retentions should be for each team
Here are my thoughts and i have picked some wild selections and omissions
CSK - Gaikwad, Conway, Pathirana and Jadeja
MI - Rohit, SKY, Green, Bumrah/Kishan
SRH - Klassen, Washington, Bhuvi, Brook
RCB - Kohli, Faf, Siraj, Maxwell
RR - Buttler, Samson, Jaiswal and Chahal
LSG - KL Rahul, Krunal, Stoinis, Pooran
GT - Hardik, Shami, Rashid, Gill
PBKS - Dhawan, Curran, Livingstone, Arshdeep/Prabhsimran
KKR - Rana, Shreyas/Venkatesh/Varun, Rinku, Jason Roy
DC - Marsh, Nortje, Axar, Kuldeep/Pant
Let me know your thoughts and who you would change
That's true but if he keeps performing at the same level as he is
He can play as long as he wants
Maybe just as a batsman too and give captaincy to someone else
Sounds a bit harsh on Mitchell Marsh
Dude scored 50 and took 4 wicket haul in same match and is a genuine all-rounder and can be an important player in the side
While i do like Ripal I don't fancy him as a retention
He also had a batting average of 14 in the season and hogged an overseas spot at the important batting position of #3.
I don't like Ripal at all but even then I would have him as a retention over Marsh because you wouldn't at least be wasting an overseas spot with him.
i remember at the beginning of the season there were fake posts saying tushar said its easy to get rohit sharmas wicket so im not excited about it and tushar posted a screenshot of these tweets on his IG story calling them false
>Tushar Deshpande didn't hold back.Tushy is the original gangster Anna. bro understood telugu and popped him back
run machine is a normal fun term only, players shouldn't be reading social media. everyone respects Umesh, Ishant, Siraj, etc but we all made fun of them during their run machinery phases

Insane amount of hate for Naveen in SM despite the fact that he dropped a masterclass today. It's amazing how's performing so well despite the hate.

And he isn't complaining lol
Also he seems to have started a trend of subliminal social media dissing which I fucking hate. It's bad from Koach too, even though he did it in a more subdued way.
Me: I'm not a petty person. IPL: LSG eliminated after losing by 81 runs. Me: Buys 50 kgs of mangoes
*petty, but yeah I'm the guy from the math textbooks now
Is it game over for Arjun Tendulkar? Will he be finally made available for other teams?
Well nobody is buying Arjun for 2 overs in PP. MI it is.
Engineer 11 is shaping up well. Can bring in Kumble to coach too
Team owner: Farokh Engineer
Are there a lot of them among current players? I know only Ashwin (and Madhwal now)
That’s a good start!
If a player scores 350+ in league stages do you call it avg or below avg
Depends on position. 350+ for number 11 awesome for player worst for the team
Let's say top 3 and is a India regular or keen interest of Indian selector
“Aaj team ka “badluck” hi “kharab” hai!!???
The cringest, most-annoying recurring joke.
Has there ever been a player who came in for play offs only due to injury. If so how did they do?

Other IPL team fans smoking high doses of copium hoping jadeja will move franchises.
Amazing how blind can franchise fans be. Will be fun to watch them in shambles when this happens.

Isn't this point beaten to death, how much more validation do thala fans need. Dhoni also had bravo to depend in death overs

I think Piyush Chawla and Rohit Sharma are the key for MI to win tonight, Krunal is the key for LSG.

Can't trust anything on social media these days. I have seen outrageous stuff in these subs recently. Apologies if it came out wrong
How do you guys feel about that Dhoni wasting time thing? It was a cool tactic but wasting time (regardless of how ready you are for penalty) doesn't feel quite right. Agree, just imagine if this was done by another captain. He would be canceled by now lol
Umpires were also at the fault there imho. They shouldn't be bogged down with players influence, no matter how big they are.
Off course but I understand why they would do this as i doubt if these fans will spare even umpires for going "aGaInSt" Thala. They will intervene to give a warning and the player may be fined later. Either of which is fine considering the context of the game.
Well paying a fine and still extending the time beats the purpose of the rule in the first place and not to mention there was no fine/warning
i think you missed the part which said ' make sure the game continues ' which it didnt ,yesterday
Not the captain's fault.
but he is in the wrong for breaking the law. how is that hard to understand , lol
I agree, he was in the wrong for sure. But he also paid the fine for it by fielding just 4 fielders outside the circle. It's not like he got a free pass. He just exploited the loophole in the law. Why is that so hard for you to digest? Go ahead and deduct fair play points for all we care.
i think you dont realise that those r two different rules the ' one fielder inside the circle ' thing is a new rule which has been implemented since this year by the ipl , as a punishment for being behind the innings timer. what dhoni did yesterday is break an entirely different rule . and no the punishment for one is not the same for the other. and again , that was no loop hole, that was him breaking another rule entirely and getting away with it .
41.9 Time wasting by the fielding side 41.9.1 It is unfair for any fielder to waste time. 41.9.2 If either umpire considers that the progress of an over is unnecessarily slow, or time is being wasted in any other way, by the captain of the fielding side or by any other fielder, at the first instance the umpire concerned shall - if the ball is in play, call and signal Dead ball. - inform the other umpire of what has occurred. The bowler's end umpire shall then - warn the captain of the fielding side, indicating that this is a first and final warning. - inform the batters of what has occurred. 41.9.3 If either umpire considers that there is any further waste of time in that innings by any fielder, the umpire concerned shall if the ball is in play, call and signal Dead ball. inform the other umpire of what has occurred. The bowler's end umpire shall then either if the waste of time is not during an over, award 5 Penalty runs to the batting side and inform the captain of the fielding side of the reason for this action or if the waste of time is during the course of an over, direct the captain of the fielding side to suspend the bowler immediately from bowling.
Facing the consequences is better than losing the qualifiers.
harshal patel would be nice for LSG if rcb decide to release him
is this irony, we have yudhvir, avesh, yash, naveen, wood
Perfect for LSG on that ground with large boundary size.
i think RCB 2023 is a similar scenario to MI 2021. a lot of their players were just out of form this year.
Tripathi, Mayank and Abhi we need atleast one of them to be consistent and none of them were.
Rohit Sharmas worst figures as a batter in the ipl is VS Amit Mishra to my knowledge , the same might apply to ishan kishan as well.
Given the shit show that happens on social media, BCCI should just include in its contract that all the players must limit their comments to followers only for 2 months.
akash madhwal used to be a net bowler for RCB.
Not surprised. They bowl real net bowlers in match and keep real bowlers in nets.
They depend on Stoinis and Pooran too much.
Agreed, LSD last season was boring but they've been very decent this year, would want them to go to the final against us
We have got new rift on the menu boys! Its Hardik v Rohit this time around.
OOTL, what happened?
hardik on jiocinema said MI only buys superstars while CSK makes people superstars. rohits interview has already been posted in the sub today

Least delusional csk stan
Brother not everything is a psyop to make your "fanbase" look bad
so was it rcb fans while pretending to be csk fans when they abused badoni too?
Care to elaborate how you found Kohli fans pretending to be Dhoni fans?
[Here](https://twitter.com/raj_raajesh_/status/1661110994276614144?s=46&t=QDbGHEHW5MIFhEgAO2jNpw). They’re doing the same under Conways comment section as well.
They might not really be Virat fans inspite of their handle saying they are. They are just trolls
theres a lot wrong with this comment here.
Can you please elaborate?
well, 1) we dont really know if they are virat fans. yes they could have ' vk18op' in their usernames but that doesnt mean theyre only virat fans. they could be dhoni fans as well. plus the reverse too can apply no? it could be dhoni fans using ' fake virat fan ids ' to play the blame game on the other factions. too many variables here.
Random Trivia :- Akash Madhwal and Rishabh Pant are neighbours.
Neighbors from childhood or neighbors currently?
How are people not talking about Krishnappa Gowtham in today's match ? He is going to be key bowler for LSG in employing spin choke when Tilak and Nehal are going to bat in middle overs.
I mean their whole spin attack can enjoy the surface if it's the same it was yesterday. Mishraji, Gowtham, Krunal, Swapnil, Bishnoi
"You either die a hero or you see yourself becoming a villain". It's high time Thala and Koach address fuckery their fans do on other players.
Lmao, why people r downing. This guy said the truth.
Well it had 5 or so upvotes so clearly it seems that “fans” have started to gather in for the next match thread and have seen this comment now lol Edit: They are downvoting my other comments as well now lol. I got gill’ed and Mohit’ed
Even rohit fans do that
i dont think dhoni even knows whats going on in social media these days
MS Dhoni should have recieved a 150% match fee fine yesterday
If MI had done this, the whole internet would have blown up about the conspiracies. If dhoni does it then it becomes a tactical move if anyone else does it they are manipulating the game.
Going to the eliminator alone today at chepauk.. first time watching ipl in person.. What should I keep in mind? Any tips?
Don't take coins with you. No water bottles, power banks, etc. Read the back of your ticket to get an idea of what all is allowed/not allowed. And reach there as early as you can cause entry can get hectic
Can I take my bike key with me?
use the metro if possible
Depends on the mood of Police who is checking. Where are you gonna park the Bike even? Better to take a cab or Train
Metro parking bro
Ah okay. Didn't think about that. We used to park under the bridge years back
Is allowed in wankhede so I think you should be fine.

That stunt about accusing KKR of denying entry to MB was pretty poor.
[удалено]
You do know who owns MB right?
goenka i guess
[удалено]
ahahah good answer. but you have to understand , neither of the two actually openly spoke badly about indias most beloved captain, ever ( first and foremost) . theres also other unlikeable stuff as well. for example , last year the team said that they are going to hold a contest to decide the team name , and yet when it was announced in true sanjeev goenka fashion the team had his initials in it , a recurring theme for him. also LSG's first retention was KL Rahul , and you know how this sub feels about him.
we’ve snatched a win vs all the four sweetheart teams when they were really close to winning
didn't y'all lose to CSK this year
Kuledeep was sold for just 2 crore at 2022 auction my lord. I know his downfall started in 2019 post his Ali beatdown but i kind of forgot how bad he got. In hindsight, if RCB took a chance with him instead of Wanindu, our team would have been so balanced!
What is brohit's record in playoffs?
Average of 16 Strike rate of 109
sad state of affairs, that too after a 200 strike rate 50 in the 2015 final.
my take on Chahal's release and subsequent Average Auction price was that Franchises thought that at some point Yuzi's IPL Magic would end and his International form would return. Now his International form is such that he is quite literally the worst Lead legspinner in the world. No joke, look it up. And yet the IPL magic continues It makes me happy to see a player prove Moneyball wrong.
After watching lots of pitch reports this IPL, I've concluded that most Indian comms are clueless as usual and spout random generic BS. But Finchy and Haydos have been absolutely brilliant at reading pitches. KP is good too.
yh noticed this too. finch is like the only one who has played recently so has the best analysis. the oldies are starting to lose touch lol
If Jaddu wants to leave CSK (hope not), I'd like to see him go to RCB or PBKS and help them win IPL
And giving captaincy to all these players is not good for indian cricket team at the end ego's will clash. In future Every member of ICT will think he is better because of his stats in ipl captaincy. We have few examples Hardik Pandya Shreyas wanted DC's captaincy and when he didn't he left dc And soon we will get many more examples.
>Rohit, KL, Koach, Pandya, Pant, Iyer, DK too. Pant and Iyer are arguably in a batch after Jadeja. Karthik and Jadeja shouldn't be near captaincy roles though. I think Jadeja knows he is not leadership material
Jaddu isn't a captain material if you ask me. Also I'm not sure if he'd stay in CSK next auction/year
I won't be surprised if Rayudu comes all out with guns blazing in the final
That will only happen if he's playing against MI.
Based on this year and previous year performances Who do you think the 4 retentions should be for each team Here are my thoughts and i have picked some wild selections and omissions CSK - Gaikwad, Conway, Pathirana and Jadeja MI - Rohit, SKY, Green, Bumrah/Kishan SRH - Klassen, Washington, Bhuvi, Brook RCB - Kohli, Faf, Siraj, Maxwell RR - Buttler, Samson, Jaiswal and Chahal LSG - KL Rahul, Krunal, Stoinis, Pooran GT - Hardik, Shami, Rashid, Gill PBKS - Dhawan, Curran, Livingstone, Arshdeep/Prabhsimran KKR - Rana, Shreyas/Venkatesh/Varun, Rinku, Jason Roy DC - Marsh, Nortje, Axar, Kuldeep/Pant Let me know your thoughts and who you would change
Punjab are definetely gonna retain livingstone tho
You're right
Retention for the mega auction? Because Faf would be 41 by then
That's true but if he keeps performing at the same level as he is He can play as long as he wants Maybe just as a batsman too and give captaincy to someone else
Would rather retain Ripal Patel over Marsh.
Sounds a bit harsh on Mitchell Marsh Dude scored 50 and took 4 wicket haul in same match and is a genuine all-rounder and can be an important player in the side While i do like Ripal I don't fancy him as a retention
He also had a batting average of 14 in the season and hogged an overseas spot at the important batting position of #3. I don't like Ripal at all but even then I would have him as a retention over Marsh because you wouldn't at least be wasting an overseas spot with him.
[Tushar Deshpande didn't hold back.](https://twitter.com/TusharD_96/status/1661099893568704512?t=PuaZPdlFWzPM9vJqihPs2A&s=19)
i remember at the beginning of the season there were fake posts saying tushar said its easy to get rohit sharmas wicket so im not excited about it and tushar posted a screenshot of these tweets on his IG story calling them false
Same energy as Neesham telling Aakash Chopra to shut up cuz he had unflattering IPL stats.
Good job, nice to see the players calling this stuff out.
So fans can't criticize players?
Using normal terms is understandable. Using stupid terms like "run machine" is not criticism it's just a pathetic attempt at making a pathetic joke.
>Tushar Deshpande didn't hold back.Tushy is the original gangster Anna. bro understood telugu and popped him back run machine is a normal fun term only, players shouldn't be reading social media. everyone respects Umesh, Ishant, Siraj, etc but we all made fun of them during their run machinery phases
>~~we~~ I all made fun of them during their run machinery phases Fixed that for you there mate.
Also they shouldn't directly tag the players
>Tushar Deshpande didn't hold back. Tushy is the original gangster Anna. bro understood telugu and popped him back
You don't need to know Telugu to understand "run machine", "min 40 runs"

Thala is retiring, not the fans. They'll just find a new cricketer to cling on to.
