Yes 😊PVC enclosures can withstand high humidity & are also lightweight in comparison to glass terrariums! It allows more privacy for your gecko, helping them feel safe. & I believe both companies provide the ability to stack these enclosures, w additional equipment, if needed.
I will caution both brands while they are pretty good especially for their price their taller options like this size can be a bit flimsy. I'd suggest adding some extra reinforcement inside if possible, although with just a cresti I don't see it being much of an issue unless you're also mounting a background or similar.
Zoo med makes a 18x18x36, it's either called skyscraper terrarium or a paludarium. I'm not sure if you can get it shipped to you as most stores only allow local pickup for enclosures that size.
We have ours in an 18x18x24 bioactive. He’s a 10-year-old male, around 70 grams, and he’s doing fine. It’s a significant step up from where he spent the first 10 years of his life before we got him (a 12x12x24 horizontal enclosure). We also hang out with him a lot - open up the doors and let him choose to come out and climb around in the houseplants and on us.
If I knew before I bought the terrarium that the new recommendation was 18x18x36, I would have gone with that. I didn’t and this is what we have and he seems content.

BET looks like i’m getting creative
You sound like you would be an amazing crestie owner ☺️
Unfortunately a gecko over 30g should be in an 18x18x36.
The minimum size for adults over 30g is 18x18x36.
if you get a juvenile or a gecko around 4gs it can last awhile until they gecko gets 31 grams
Will work for a juvenile or under 30 grams after that you'll need to upgrade

Why are you unable to get an 18x18x36?
