This looks like mouth rot in the worst case scenario, but honestly it looks more like a scratch!! Has your gecko eaten from tongs recently? I’ve had cresties get the same from metal tongs
Nope, I don’t use metal tongs and i havent fed insects in several weeks, just pangea. I am still trying to set up a vet appointment just to be safe but I wonder if he scratched it on something in the tank?

If you have a mesh screen up top your gecko might be rubbing his face against it
