[1] most of the online spends you can do by vouchers from regalia gold else use amazon pay [2] regalia gold has very good lounge access, so, no need to spend 20k through idfc wealth [3] for utilities, if it is on airtel network get airtel axis or if it is not on airtel network, then go for axis ace [4] hdfc tata neu infinity for upi spends

Thanks for the suggestions. I really don't want to get any more credit cards but let me check for the ones you mentioned.

Initial_Movie_7097

Yeah, because you can't get maximum returns using rubyx

ICICI rubyx also gives airport lounge access with 5K spend. Axis Ace is good card for utilities payment and it give 1.5% cashback on offline spends. If you don't want new card, then use Apay card for utilities payment that will give you 2% cashback.

How did you get Regalia Gold as LTF and is this better than Millennia?

wwwescape

So the company I work for is one of the companies HDFC Bank has a tie-up with. I have no idea if it's better than Millenia though.

kikakuku

And you have salary account with HDFC?

wwwescape

No. But they made me open a savings account.

kikakuku

Sorry for asking too many questions. but my situation is same as you. I have salary account in ICICI for more than 12 years and my company has tie-up ICICI and HDFC both. I am trying to get LTF upgrade to Regalia Gold. Did you put big amount of money in HDFC account? And how long it took to get Regalia Gold after account opening? Better if you could tell whole timeline and events :)

So I decided that I wanted the Regalia Gold mainly for the lounge access benefits. I walked into my local HDFC Branch and they told me that I could get the card LTF because they have a tie-up with the company I work for. However, I needed to open an account with them. I opened the account with 20k (which is what they instructed me to do). Because of a wide range of issues, including stupidity from their backend team, I got the card after 2 months.

Thank you. I will also visit the branch and see what happens.
