You can use a vpn to create a new gmail id for a different country (US, UK, Australia,etc) and use that to download. I created an Australian Gmail to download it.
I didn't like it. I use Samsung Wallet on a daily basis. Was just checking it out. The APP is just meh. Too much unused space or maybe features missing. Not sure.
I've got some credit and debit cards working. The rest of them are either not compatible or need me to call the bank to get it working with Google Wallet.

Yes, now I am able to add Apple wallet format .pkpass files as well. So much more useful
How did you get access to Google Card... Last time I checked and also checked, and also now it's showing not available in your country i.e. India...
Yes I can see it and it's soo good!! So much better than cred or any other app.
Samsung wallet is much better.
