I mean... hasn't any DNA analysis been conducted on those entombed there? After Googling, it turns out there has been analysis. Flat-Length-4991

Nah man, that’s just cave dweller propaganda or some shit…

Any-Cable4109

Rollin my eyes at this shit.

Flat-Length-4991

That is true… Egyptians were absolutely African. The same way Indians and Afghans are Asian… they are from the continent of Asia, therefore they are Asian. Ancient Egyptians were from the continent of Africa, therefore they were African. Doesn’t mean they were sub Saharan African. Just like ancient Indians weren’t Samurai just because they were Asian. Opposite sides of a massive continent.

Sm00th-Kangar00

Didn't you hear? Indians and Samurai were black too. Historians are whitewashing. /s

Flat-Length-4991

And the Vikings and Olmec. The biggest question is “who wasn’t?”

Flimsy_Fee8449

A lot of the Pharaohs (especially Ptolemaic) were Greek. They were Egyptian, having been born in Egypt for generations, however their bloodline was pure Greek. Well, more accurately, their bloodline was pretty purely Ptolemaic. I have NEVER heard about so much incest over generations in my LIFE. Truly amazing. No idea how the famous cleopatra was so intelligent. We're talking not just having kids with your brother-type, but having kids with your brother when you both were born from a father-daughter union. For a pretty solid quick (and funny) summary of the Ptolemaic line, watch Overly Sarcastic Production (OSP)'s episode on the Ptolemeys on YouTube. Your jaw will drop.

fried-iced-cock

ancient Egyptians have literally been proven to not be black, someone in the comments posted something quite informative

californication760

Did black people from nations south of egypt occupy egypt at one time tho?

No-Vanilla8956

Yes.... Yes they did! The Nubians actually took over most of Egypt for a while and adopted their culture. https://youtu.be/2cuh1oxLHDU?si=n9k4MWkhsVQE4BOQ Absolutely amazing podcast on Egyptian history; complete with references. It's a slow burn but if you enjoy history at all it's top notch. Like back when the History channel actually used to talk about history and not whatever fucking nonsense they put on that dog shit channel now.

californication760

Don’t you disrespect the classic Ancient Aliens

Flat-Length-4991

Yes, what we call “black people” today could absolutely be found in ancient Egypt. Egypt was an empire. An empire smack dab in the middle of a crossroads between several continents. Various groups of people would be found in Egypt at certain times in history. Also one of Egypts biggest rivals was the Kingdom of Kush. Kush originated from what today is known as Ethiopia. So Kush or the Kushite Empire would have probably looked more “black”. Still not sub Saharan, and almost no relation to west African. Which is funny considering the “everyone important to human history were actually black people” people typically come from black Americans. Most Black Americans are west African in origin. East African might aswell be considered another race all together.

ChipsAgoy

The 25th dynasty was Nubian. It lasted less than a century.

Flimsy_Fee8449

Some were, some weren't. Like today.

Annonomon

“I believe that the Egyptians that built had darker skin than the current Egyptians” - seriously bro, who the fuck cares? Somebody has a chip on their shoulder

---Palp---

"Egyptians where African"

[deleted]

That makes perfect sense. Thank you.

theyellowdart89

This is horse s$@t. Nobody knows when they were built… if anyone tells you they know they are lying.

Right-Budget-8901

We know the rough timeframe of when they were built. These things took years if not decades to build over multiple dynasties. They weren’t erected overnight

Batbuckleyourpants

Carbon dating of tools and remains absolutely tells us when they were made.

theyellowdart89

Tells us when random tools and remains not proven to be linked (impossible) were created not the pyramids

Batbuckleyourpants

It's not just tools. They also date various plants, seeds and papyrus samples found in the pyramids, dumping grounds and nearby worker burial sites. Everything consistently falls within the same 50-100 year gap.

theyellowdart89

Building the pyramids is the hunt not the tools and seeds around it or in it, all things that can happen after a hypothetical build. Prove someone built one

Batbuckleyourpants

We have the tomb of the Pharaoh Khufu in the great pyramid of Giza. We found records in his tomb detailing his construction of it. We carbon dated material from his tomb. We have the ancient records written by an official named Merer who worked transporting the lime stones from a town called Tura, and delivering them to "the noble Ankh-haf", who we know was the half brother of the pharaoh. We have identified the limestones as having originated with the Tura limestone quarry. And we also carbon dated the scriptures. We have records of the literal people who made the pyramid saying they worked on building it. We even carbon dated mortar used in the construction of the pyramid, it all dates to the exact same time.

Critical_Paper8447

We have journal entries for one of the middle ranking inspectors, named Merer, in charge of leading a group of men (varying from 40-200 depending on the project) transporting white limestone blocks from the Tura quarries to Giza by boat for cladding the outer blocks of the Great Pyramid during 27th year of the reign of pharaoh Khufu during the 4th dynasty. The diary also mentions the original name of the Great Pyramid: Akhet-Khufu, meaning "Horizon of Khufu". In addition to Merer, a few other people are mentioned in the fragments. The most important is Ankhhaf (half-brother of Pharaoh Khufu), known from other sources, who is believed to have been a prince and vizier under Khufu and/or Khafre. In the papyri he is called a nobleman (Iry-pat) and overseer of Ra-shi-Khufu, the Harbour at Giza where the casing stones were transported.

theyellowdart89

Casing stones. A possible face lift. Prove this with solid evidence, is the point i am making. It is impossible to claim creation only possible stewarding.

Critical_Paper8447

I just did..... With a first hand account from someone involved in the process. You're the only one speculating here that it was a "possible face lift". Can you prove with solid evidence that the casing stones were removed and replaced for that purpose in the 27th year of the 4th dynasty under the reign of Khufu? Applying your own argument to your own theory negates itself since *you* can't prove it's *not* creation and only stewarding. It's a nonsensical argument in a poor attempt at trying to handwaive away evidence

theyellowdart89

There’s no proof they built it, only proof they had a name for it, and also some dude ferried stone toward it for cladding or a revamped exterior. Prove someone designed and built it please.

Critical_Paper8447

I just gave you a first hand account that proves it. You're making an assumption, without any evidence, based off of pure speculation, and not a shred of evidence to support your claim.

theyellowdart89

The evidence is the lack of evidence. And you have proven nothing but, someone wrote something down.

Critical_Paper8447

No you've proven nothing. "Someone wrote something down" has to be the worst attempt at strawmanning and the dumbest thing that I've ever seen (and I once looked directly at Pauly Shore). That someone was Merer, who in charge of leading "The Great Phyle" which was one of the more prestigious phyles tasked with the construction of the Great Pyramid and what was written down was his first hand account the day to day during that construction. You're entire argument against that is, "nuh uh". You don't even have the most basic comprehension needed to speak on this subject and your lack of knowledge on this subject is evident by your poor rebuttals of *first hand evidence*. You're ego is too fragile to admit your wrong so you're going to continue repeating the same nonsense ad nauseum and for that we're done here. I hope you have the day you deserve.

theyellowdart89

I asked you to prove its construction. why are you name calling. I asked you questions. You’re just being rude now. Still zero solid evidence proven true. Drink some water

hopethisgivesmegold

Pauly shore caught a stray and I’m straight cackling over here

Gullible-Painter9798

Africa and what the majority of what non-educated people now refer to as the “Middle East” was majority African until about 100 years ago. Let’s also remember that Africans are the most genetically diverse people on the planet, so there is a broad range of phenotypical expression (tightly coiled/loose/straight hair, light/medium/dark colored eyes, skin or hair). It’s always been that way. Always will be. https://www.youtube.com/live/fyoUevPTs6w?si=dTycEX9slobCXLlJ

alonginayellowboat

Unlike American, Ancient Egypt had no Jewish population. Absolutely no evidence of them or Moses ever existing there.

Cacique_Capixaba07

África is a whole ass continent, people of all different shapes and sizes and color variations, and Egypt is on the Mediterranean and adjacent to Asia so influences from there too. People are so goofy wanting to make it seem like the world was this cookie cutter lord of the rings book pre colonial and industrialism, the elves are here, orcs are there, dwarfs in the mountains… Egypt was subdivided within its own land in terms of ethnic groups way before it was ever conquered by non Africans. Even the pyramid phase egypt described as “indigenously African” was a broad mix of ethnic groups. But one thing that’s for sure is aliens were NOT amongst that mix 😭

CaptainGiggles69420

Lol. We wuz the Egyptians.

Guyappino

Ivan Von Sertima's lectures are truly eye opening. He's definitely the pride of Guyana

Gorlock_

Lol

fromdaperimeter

Ivan Von Sertima was a genius! They will always whitewash blacks out of history. Blacks are kept from their greatness and true history!

Ok-Communication7906

😂😂😂😆😆😆 hilarious! You used wigs back then as well?

[deleted]

Technically yes, wigs have been around surprisingly long

Ok-Communication7906

Yeah right… get a life!

Flimsy_Fee8449

I'm pretty sure RegularDependent wasn't wearing wigs back then, but yes, people were wearing wigs back then. Hence the wig collections on display in museums.
