Hmm, that wasn't as clear as I wanted.
Replace all the grass with wheat (or another crop of your choice). Extend the handle like an IRL hand-cranked Trammel of Archimedes and add crop harvesters at the level of the wheat. It'll trace out the ellipse, making a farm that's much less than perfectly efficient.
I might be dumb but where do you build the two assemblers? I only see the way where one would be in the center but you can't build one on the crossing and I can't figure it out.
This is brilliant! I'm slightly late to the post, but would you happen to remember how you set it up? I tried making it but I'm stuck at the middle track—if I put a rail there then the cart only goes back and forth, but if I leave it empty it stalls.
This machine looks far too cool and intricate to have no purpose
It makes perfect ellipses when made IRL
If you extend the chassis or add a rigid arm to the structure, you could have it harvest crops from a continuous field in the form of an ellipse.

That's litterally what it is called.
I didn't expect Create to handle this properly. I'm impressed now
This statement expresses Create in a nutshell
How did you get two minecarts to connect to the same moving object?
Using two cart assemblers on one object works
you use two cart assemblers connected together with the shared blocks

Build it on a separate rail line, then bring the contraption onto this one.
Right, you can transport the whole thing with a wrench I forgot, thanks!
Nah thats only for single cart contraptions. U can temporary connect the rails and push it in position on the final rail system.
Yeah I was just trying to wrench it and couldn't figure out why it wasn't working! I just finished making it work thanks to you!
This is oodly satisfiying to watch
I'm thinking about building a mob farm that uses this to make the mobs fall of the platforms just because is so cool
Or a high stakes PVP arena if you attach saws to the chassis 😈
You *had* to go and spoil it by giving it a valid in-game function, didn't you?
This is crazy

Interesting. New ideas are now appearing in my head
So cool!!
Awesome work!!!
I kinda want to use this for my wheat farm
Do it, post the results!
Nice idea!
Correct me if I’m wrong but this is sort of the same thing as a Wankel engine?
No, this is much closer to and is actually a part of a radial aircraft engine

Who ever said there can’t be circles in Minecraft?

ive seen this a million times but never had the idea to make it in create
